Custer is situated nicely between the number of day trips we took. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were busy refilling containers and helpful with a smile. The lady at the front desk on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was very friendly. We really liked the layout of the room. Plenty of space for two suitcases and other bags.

Great location for parks.
Great location that is central to all activities in the area. Beds were comfortable and hotel was clean. Breakfast was edible but same thing every day got old after 5 days.

Great location to Custer State Park. Great coffee. Tile floors in lobby, near elevators, pool area, and breakfast are were filthy. We stayed 3 nights and the same dirty spots were there each day. The floor is so sticky that you could hear the people’s shoes sticking to the floor as you ate breakfast. Not hard to improve or solve this problem. Make someone mop each day!
