Our stay was very disappointing. Four nights at an average of $176 per night I expected better. The pictures of the hotel on the website must be years old. A safe in the room was pictured, there was none, A desk and chair was pictured, there was none. There was no ice machine that i could find. The south entrance door electronic lock didn't work so it was just propped open next to the rain gutter that had apparently fell off the building. The bottom of the extremely small RV size shower was rusting badly. The toilet seat finish was worn down to bare wood. The windows were dirty on the inside, covered with fingerprints. The website showed a sauna, it was broken and unusable. That was one of the reasons we chose this hotel over others. On the plus side the staff was nice, the bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was fair. Have used BW before but probably not in the future.

During our room upgrade this summer we did remove the in room safes and there will be new pictures available soon. Our ice machine is located in the first stairwell right off the lobby. Again I am sorry we failed to exceed your expectations.

The room door was sticky and hard to open. The bathroom door wouldn't shut at all. The fan in the bathroom, on whenever the light was on, sounded like an aircraft carrier during flight ops. The hotel touted 25Mbps internet, but even at times the hotel was almost empty, or in the middle of the night, was no faster than 10-15; at prime streaming time, it was unusable.

The halls of the hotel had a very strong smell (like a skunk) at night. Thankfully our no -smoking room did not have the smell.

Spent a few nights at BW in St. Ignace and the rooms were so much nicer with laminate flooring and an extra blanket. Staff was much friendlier as well.

We were there for three nights. We got into our room and unpacked. Decided to turn the TV on, no remote anywhere. We went to the desk and asked for a remote, we were told to go back and look for it. Hmm, we did, still no remote. We went back, and she said she would come and look for it, after she moved all the mattresses and went through all the drawers she did not find it, then proceeded to say she is going to charge the previous occupants. I suggested that maybe housekeeping may have accidentally picked it up with the sheets, no luck there, I asked if we could move to another room, she agreed.
So we packed up and moved, now we don't have a luggage rack to put our luggage, so I went back and asked for one. I went to our previous room and got one. Then we noticed we had no bar soap, so we ran to the store and bought some
The pool was under maintenance two of our three days
There was no housekeeping for our room, we had to keep asking for towels to shower each night. The last night they didn't have enough towels, so we had to reuse our dirty one
It was all very disappointing.

Dirty room, no service of room until you complain about not having core items, staff interacting with friends/family/kids instead of helping customers. Breakfast was awful.

Room was not the cleanest. Bathroom could use updating. Breakfast area had dirty tables. Buffet was kept up. I assume they were short staffed.
