Grossest hotel I’ve stayed in. Trouble checking in- took 30 minutes. Gross smell in main area like mold humidity and old bread or something. Lobby and stairs looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in days or weeks. Run down exterior with unmowed lawn and poor landscaping and old car by the dumpster. Peeling paint, old stained carpet. Hot tub doesn’t work and the pool was so humid with water running down literally every surface in the pool room we didn’t even want to go in. Was embarrassed to take my daughter here. Would have left if I could. Believe the low scores.

The worst hotel experience in a long time. Room was filthy and stains on the carpet. Holes in the wall. AC was filled with mildew that had a terrible smell. The lobby AC was broken. 2 out of the 3 ice machines were broken. They are not returning my money for this experience. DO NOT STAY!

THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. FULL OF MOLD. Our bathroom is full of mold from the roof. Told the man at the front desk. Which he lead us into another room, “oh no it’s in here as well give me sometime to find you a room with none”. Took him 30mins to find us another room with no MOLD. Pool and lobby has many spots of rust laying all over the floor. Many things just laying around broken. Pool room was extremely slippery, where my child slipped minute walking into. Chunks of hair, dirt, and paper towels in and around the pool. Pool was also VERY COLD that we could not even get into very long! Hot tub was not working. Hallways are filthy and full of dirt. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. NOT KID OR FAMILY FRIENDLY. We definitely won’t be back.

You get what you pay for. The outside of the hotel is a dump. There is a literal broken down car in the weeds next to the dumpster. The grass was all overgrown and weeds all over along the curbs and sidewalks. Inside needs serious refurbishing. Our room was so so except bathroom needs a deep cleaning and toilet dripped and would run all night. Do not recommend unless you are booking last minute and everything else is sold out, as it was in our case.

If I had a nickel for every time a hotel has lied to me about the hot tub working or the indoor pool being heated, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much I know, but it's weird that it happened twice in a row for us. The reason that the Hot Tub was out of service and the pool no longer heated (and according to the inspection logs on the door the pool is normally around 80 degrees) is that the water heater isn't working and hasn't been for a while. The hotel has other issues that stem from a lack of maintenance. The doorknob on the bathroom looks like a hastily installed replacement that doesn't have the cover plate the correct size for the hole the original one came out of. The shower head looks like it was again, a hastily selected and replaced unit since again, you can see the hole where the pipe comes through the wall. The carpeting in the hallway on the third floor looks like someone spilled a gallon of bleach and hasn't bothered to replace it. And lastly, our toilet has a leak. The flapper isn't sealing so leaks water into bowl constantly. After a while, the water level in the tank falls and it has to re-fill. Over and Over again. I kinda expect things like that from a low quality and inexpensive apartment, not a nice hotel. And as you look around, you see signs of slip-shod and low quality repairs. As if the owners are trying to skimp on the maintenance to increase profits. Breakfast was a little...grim. Pre-Packaged sausage sandwiches that are kept wrapped in the steamer which I'm not sure is healthy (chemicals leeching out of the plastic under heat and steam) and can't be good for the quality of the product. The sausage patties were a shade of grey that looked unpleasant. They tasted fine, but were unappealing. The WiFi was a huge problem for us. They give you a slip that gives the WiFi password with your keys but the system doesn't ASK for a password. It's the portal page that comes up and wants you to click on "I Agree" before letting you log in. The slip of paper also mentions that the hot tub is open which felt like rubbing salt in the wound for us. The WiFi is also sketchy at best on the third floor. When it works, it's fast enough. The problem is that while on Facebook, I'd get the message saying that I've lost connection only to have it pop up with "Your Internet is restored" seconds later. For whatever reason, even though I have a strong 78% signal strength in my room...the connection will just randomly drop out. Some times it drops out and I have to head back to the portal page...if I can get it to load so I can re-agree and reconnect. Beds were comfortable, if a little firmer than I like but that's my subjective opinion, pillows actually have structure and don't collapse flatter than a folded T-Shirt when my head hits them, and the room was clean.

What is it with hotels lying about their amenities? This is the second hotel we reserved a room in that *promised* a hot tub and a heated pool. Once again when we got here...the hot tub was down for maintenance. Right off the bat...I'm not happy. As I said, this is the second time in a row (check my review history about a hotel in Indianapolis for the other one). "At least this pool had working ladders to get in and out of." he said, dripping with sarcasm. I haven't been here long enough yet to see the breakfast or other amenities so I can't really comment on them but if they at least the room is clean, the beds are a little on the firmer side than we like (but then we're likely spoiled by our Purple Mattresses)...so I can't say too much. But that "Being lied to" thing is what's keeping this review at 2 out of 5.

With so much to say about this stay, let me try to start with a positive. The staff here is pretty nice and accommodating. The gentleman who checked us in was quite pleasant. I requested early check-in and when I arrived at 1 o’clock, our rooms were not ready. We were asked to give them until 2 o’clock, and when we came back at 2, the rooms were ready, fair enough. I had also requested an upper floor. This hotel only has three floors and the third floor was closed I was told…ok, I’ll live. OK now I’m struggling to find more positive so let me just get to it. This facility in my opinion needs to be closed, majorly overhauled, and then reopened. It is a great location, so it is a shame that this property is in such bad need of repair. This is an independently owned Country Inn, which I did not know prior to arriving here, and the owners obviously don’t maintain it well. It immediately felt dirty as the carpets in the hallways and in my room were heavily stained. And upon entering our room, we found something gross splashed on the walls (see pic). Luckily, we traveled with Lysol wipes, and never before in my life have I found myself checking into a hotel and needing to clean the walls, but there is a first for everything I guess. And since the stains came off with my Lysol wipes, I’m assuming the housekeeping staff could have done the same thing?? The beds were as hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable, and I woke up with a stiff neck each morning. The bathtub had a huge rusted crack in the wall (see pic). The cheap flimsy shower curtain could not stay up on the curved rod, and so if you did not leave the shower on a middle stream, then water all over the floor, which apparently had happened before, because the bottom of the bathroom door had obvious water damage and was crumbling. The dresser drawers would not stay shut and fell open on their own, which definitely was a hazard to getting up in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar place. The floor had an awful red stain on the carpet (see pic) that I pray was not blood. We just used the luggage rack to cover it. The clock in the room did not work at all, and 1/3 of the channels on the television were frozen all the time, so it was pretty much either the weather channel or SpongeBob for me during my entire stay. The floor in our room was hard, creaky and uneven, and I swear, I felt myself walking into a dip every time I walked into the center of the room. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The breakfast offering was pathetic and lacked options. Two of the four juices were out the whole time. Breakfast was supposed to go until 10 AM , But at 9:15 on one morning and at 9:45 on another morning there were no stocked food options. I found myself going to the store for disinfectant spray and doing an additional wipe down because the place just felt broken down and dirty. I was staying with additional family members in the area at this and another nearby hotel
尽管入住时间很短,但我住得很愉快。
早餐不错。房间还可以。走廊的地毯很脏。
太棒了!
