I and my fellow bike rider were at the Dickson Hampton Inn for a week. The hotel was in perfect condition and for us, well located. The staff was great. The housekeepers were super and our room was kept in great condition. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast people were pleasant and helped us with our early departures. We had a great stay and enjoyed being there.

The staff are all cheerful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms on the second floor are comfortable and clean. I am picky and felt good about staying there. Do not accept a room on the first floor, though. Those are dark and sub par with pealing wallpaper. The breakfasts are simple but offer make-your-own waffles. Parking is free and easily available.

Decent hotel but too pricey

We had a one-night stay here on our way home. I chose this Hampton Inn because in the past they were typically a first rate hotel, and the price tag indicated it should be. The room was extremely dark and the blinds didn't go up. The hall ceiling tiles were watermarked (and looked as though) it had been that way for a while. The only way I could get a king bed was to pick 'accessible' even though we didn't need an accessible room. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Matter of fact the manager called to let me know I left something there but we were too far down the road to turn around.

Perfectly normal stay. Seems newly renovated with fresh furniture. Coffee bar for guests as you enter front door. Workout room furnished well. Has a sauna in workout room.

One of my issues is smell. My nose is sensitive. The Hampton Inn in Dickson did not have that typical, yucky hotel smell. It was very pleasant and greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Hampton Inn in Dickson to everyone.
