A pleasant hotel with view of the Yoshino River and a blue bridge. The gentleman who received us was very friendly and approachable. He spoke very good English. He even felt sorry for our Blue Jays lost to the Dodgers in the World Series. The hotel was built by the hillside. The floor levels seemed to be staggered, so some floors could not accessed by elevator. We did not have issue with that. But if you have mobility problem, make sure you ask for a room that can be accessed by elevator. The room was pretty large. The windows overlooking the river with a nice view of the Shikinoue Bridge. The breakfast was pre-order the night before. Choice between western or Japanese. The lady who served us breakfast was also very sweet and hospitable. We picked this hotel for its proximity to the Oboke Gorge and the Iya Valley Vine Bridge. And we did manage to get there before the crowd landed.
