Would book again
I stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The location was convenient and quiet. Although the listing said breakfast was free, I was informed at check-in that there would be a charge, so I chose to skip it. Just something to be aware of when booking. Otherwise, my stay was pleasant

Very disappointing. Booked our room several months in advance for a Keith Urban concert as we live 4+ hours away. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled last minute and we needed to cancel our trip. Much to our surprise our room was a "non-refundable" rate (which I did not realize) and the AGM (Brittany) refused to budge and refund or credit us for a future stay once the concert was rescheduled.
We are a couple of senior women from a church widows support group that love to get out and do a bit of traveling a to listen to some music to pass the time. It's a sad shame that The Hyatt Place Greenville Downtown couldn't make an exception, considering the extenuating circumstances. So unfortunately we had to lose the nearly $300 we spent on the room. Not a good look Hyatt.

The core of our business is to hopefully provide guests w/ wonderful hotel experiences.And indeed, we're a business at the end of the day.Non-refundable room rates are set much lower than refundable ones and just like airline fares or concert tickets, what we sell is ever-expiring...meaning, once the night has passed, we can't sell that room again. The opportunity to do so is gone forever. This is why we have to abide by the policies of refundable and non-refundable room rates. I hope that makes sense?.Again, I'm sorry for the entire situation and hope you enjoy the concert whenever it returns to town. Thank you for your time.

Staff seemed indifferent to patrons. Mostly spending time on their phones. Front desk left unattended at times. It was very annoying to be disturbed before 8am to the sound of what seemed like a disco/rap concert. The walls and lights in our room on the 3rd floor were vibrating!!! Upon questioning staff, I was told it was a scheduled special event & nothing could be done.

I have used this situation as a training tool for reviewing w/ the staff and what to do if situations like this ever arise again.In addition, ALL staff know never to be on their cell phone in guest view...and this rule will be reinforced and re-stated ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to communicate this to us.

The strange bacon was very chewy would have preferred regular bacon, the fruit had a strange taste to it and was mushy, and it would have been nice to have had a small pastry also-- especially since we had to pay 11 for each meal

我们到的时候差点就赶不上两点钟街对面的演出，幸好那位女士很快帮我们办好了入住，我们才能及时赶到！真的非常感谢她的服务，演出结束后，她还在酒吧里专门为我们播放了大学橄榄球赛！这里的人都很有活力，早餐也不错！额外的惊喜是，一些舞者和他们的家人也住在这里，所以我们认识了一些很棒的人。总而言之，这里氛围超棒，我肯定还会再来住的。
前台工作人员对他们工作的酒店一无所知。你要求一个安静的房间，他们却给你一间临街的房间。所以噪音很大，空调系统也糟糕透顶。
很棒的酒店，能住在南卡罗来纳州格林维尔市中心总是很舒服。
