Stayed with a friend overnight, easy to access off the A1. Staff are very welcoming room was clean and comfortable but the hotel needs updating.

Stayed at this hotel for a buisness trip and don’t have anything bad to say. Staff were very friendly and the room was nice and clean. There’s a Starbucks opposite the hotel which had some great breakfast options. There’s hotel is suprisingly quite, despite being at immediate reach of the A1, which made it a great stay. Would come again

Stopped over on the way north for work. Decent lodge and room was clean. Lisa and the rest of the staff was very helpful. Very close to the A1 but traffic noise was fine. There isn’t a kitchen on site but there is a Starbucks and a diner on the other side of the carriageway. Also a pub in village. Would recommend for a business stop over

Stopped over for work. I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reivews but tbh it was more than fine. Room/bathroom was clean no problems there, decentish size. I've stayed in more expensive hotels which the rooms were tiny and in much worse condition so it was a nice surprise. Service was really good, Simon was on reception, very friendly and hospitible. Genuinely couldn't have been more helpful. Even though it's just off the A1, the traffic noise was fine for me but I do live near a motorway so kinda used to it. There's a Starbucks next door and across the dual carriage there's a truckstop bar and a diner so there are a couple of options nearby for food if you don't want to travel far.

Tried to cancel due to personal circumstances. No one answered the phone soebt over £3.00 in a queue listening to music. Very angry and upset !!!!!

Had a one night stay here, room was clean and comfy. Ample parking and a Starbucks a 30 second walk away for breakfast in the morning

The carpet in the room had obviously not been cleaned as there was a human fingernail or toenail at the side of the bed, I informed Shevonne, who was very apologetic and supplied a robot cleaner for the room. She offered a free breakfast box but I refused, as I just wanted a clean room.

Amazing service. Lovely staff. Simon was very helpful. Me and my family enjoyed our stay it was very quiet and peaceful . Thank you all x
