Looks like a bit of maintenance would be useful. For example, a wall in the bedroom was repainted but the paint did not quite match the previous paint. The air conditioner needs to be sealed. It was apparent that outside air was entering the room. The television color needs to be adjusted (it was too blue).

Easy overnight stay! Clean room and comfortable bed. Take out containers available at breakfast. Pool open late.

Front desk staff were nice. Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Hotel was easy to find. Breakfast was good.

Satisfactory stay. We had stopped prior to going to the fair to ask a question about leaving a trailer and no one was at the desk for over 10 minutes, an employee sitting out front smoking said they were probably in the bathroom. Difficult to get a trailer in and divided road complicated getting on to 80. Walls a bit thin, our neighbors were quite loud. Towels over front desk upon arrival seemed a bit unsanitary. Front desk staff should not need to fold towels while guests are checking in.

We come for the Hereford cattle show at the Iowa State Fair every year and always stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Altoona. It’s the best!!!

Bathroom had a crack in the shower and a crack in the floor. Room was nice but bathroom needs work.

Hotel was very clean. Pool area was clean as well....but the hot tub was not working all weekend. Breakfast was very good.

We loved our stay and were very happy with all the amenities. Very nice and clean. Walls are pretty thin and it can be loud at times would be the only negative thing I have to say! I would stay here again though!!
