Fantastic place to pull up in a campervan - we spent four nights here on a powered site. The private toilet/shower block for each site was a nice surprise and the a dip in the pool was lovely in the 40 degree heat. Amazing to watch the abundance of birdlife around the property, especially loved watching the black cockatoos as they are a favourite of ours. Were able to wander across the road for a meal then return to the serenity of Anbinik. Zoe in the office was a pleasure to deal with, and organised last minute and late check-ins for us. We will definitely be back !

Very disappointing and not worth the money. Had booked a cabin with 2 bedrooms not knowing that you have to go outside to get to the bathroom. This was not an option for us. The lady at the reception was very friendly and gave us a suite instead (which was cheaper). The term "suite", however, does not in the least reflect the room. It was very dark with plywood walls, full of cobwebs and the faucet was covered in green rust. The BBQ facilities were unkempt and there was no restaurant on site. The 2 stars are for the lady at the reception who was very friendly.

Nothing that is written about the resort is true, other than air conditioning in the suites. The double bed is so soft you feel like you are on the floor. Cobwebs in the suites. The pool is green, nowhere to buy drinks or food within the complex. Thank goodness for Kakadu lodge opposite as they have a great pool and bistro area where you can eat and drink. I would not recommend.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 3 nights. Wish it wasn’t for that long! We booked this property based on their advertisement of having an onsite restaurant. We arrive to be told no restaurant and there are no basic supplies, not even cold drinks available onsite. We were two couples sharing the cabin which is meant to accommodate 5 people. We had a total of 3 bowls, 3 bread & butter plates, 3 entree plates, 4 forks & 3 knives. There were 2 small saucepans and no frypan. Bathroom is separate and out the back door (this was fine as it was advertised so we were well aware but it was certainly not clean). Think 1970s amenities block where your mum made you wear thongs in the shower! One positive was the communal BBQs which looked fairly new and were very clean.

Cute relaxing bungalow in the bush surrounded by sounds of wildlife and gentle rain. However, the walls are 100% transparent at night when a light is on. Not so bad if there wasn't a shared bbq area 3m from your bed which forces you to have the light off - ruling out reading. This table appeared to be used by everyone, not just the bungalows it was dedicated for. During my stay it was also used by a local tour operator with 8-10 people until 9:30pm - at which point I engaged with them and they kindly moved on. They werent exceptionally loud but due to the close proximity and lack of curtains it was equivalent to trying to sleep in your underwear (38 celcius and no air-conditioning) in the middle of a loud cafe when you've paid for quiet, privacy and nature. It was also unfortunate that the restaurant had an impromptu closing this night and food in this town is extremely limited. It had the makings of a great stay in the wilderness but apparently flying 16h to stay in a bush bungalow in kakadu doesn't even afford you peace, quiet and privacy these days. Disappointed at the loss of what should have been a great nightime nature experience.

I loved staying in the suite accommodation with it's inside/outside bathroom. The outdoor shower was wonderful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The aircon, fan and louvre windows gave cooling options other than always using the aircon. The balcony lounger was a favourite spot for relaxing and watching the birdlife. The pool was good but could do with a sun lounger or two, even though the area is quite small. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The location is convenient and I would definitely stay again.
