We only ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel. It has severe drainage issues in the toilets. Carpets are dirty and bare in some place. Tables and chairs old and knackered. Ceilings are awful. Around air con units is terrible All in all the restaurant needs completely redoing and upgraded

Called in for breakfast today. Really busy, but a member of staff, a very pleasant man with an Irish accent found us a table. The food was good, but we were most impressed with the hard working staff and the quality of service provided.

Lovely welcoming snd calm atmosphere with calm and spacious rooms. Everything is clean and the beds and bathrooms are perfect. Tv very easy to use. Good refreshment refills by the door if you need them. Restaurant next door for a drink or food very good. Close to a12 for easy transport. Have stayed here a few times now and highly recommend.

I stayed here for 2 nights and honestly one of the nicest premier inns I’ve stayed in. Room was a very good size, spacious, bed was clean and comfortable, room was clean, room has a bath and a shower option also. It Does show some sign of age with some paint chipped off the wall, small section polly filler on one wall and a plaster? Of all things on the ceiling. Even though you are just off the A12 and next to a very busy road you cannot hear the traffic at all and it’s very quiet. I am a person who usually doesn’t sleep well away from home but I felt very comfortable here and relaxed. Only thing I will say is if you want fresh towels/room clean/top up of tea and coffee you need to let reception know in the morning before you leave if not it doesn’t happen! Overall a great stay. Minimal interaction with staff…check in lady was lovely, so friendly and smiley. I came down on my second stay and asked for fresh towels and coffee/tea as I didn’t realise I needed to ask for it in the morning and she was a bit short/abrupt but not sure I would classify it as rude. Hotel doesn’t have a lift either and is stair access only so deffo be aware of this when booking. Plenty of parking and has no issue with this and it is free, just put your number plate in the tablet in reception.

First staff member was rude and felt like I was a hinderance, when asking about car park. Guy on reception was efficient and polite. No WiFi in our room, showed small connection but after login didn’t work, tried multiple devices. When staying for 2 night and with kids who sometimes need downtime this broke the stay tbh. Stay here 2-4 times a year, maybe time to try elsewhere.

Terrible experience cold room, extremely noisy all through the night mould in the corner of room and damp smelling, bedding did not smell or look clean I would avoid

Good place to stay with friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Although right near very busy roads there is no noise and always have a good night's sleep.

I booked an early check-in; however, I arrived early and was accommodated by the staff. The room was clean, and the staff were very pleasant. I had a very relaxing evening, a wonderful one-night stay.
