Stayed at this location for two nights last weekend. The front desk personnel were friendly and check in/out were both quick. My (king bed) room and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were decent and not flat. The breakfast was the usual waffles, little egg omelets, various bread, yogurt and some fruit. It was kept well stocked and the area was very clean. My room was on the second floor; the hallway was very quiet, but I could hear the person(s) on the floor above me, but not too bad. This is my "go to" when I am in Del Rio because the price/value is good. There is some remodeling going on, but I never heard anything and the workers I encountered in the hallway or elevator were very nice.

Clean hotel with helpful staff. Although given a room by the elevator it was surprisingly quiet! There are some updates that are needed but the hotel and room was clean. Breakfast was cereal, hot oatmeal, pastries, bagels, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffles. Conveniently located just off Hwy 90 and near lots of retail.

I am a Hilton Diamond member, so I have been to countless Hampton Inn properties. I highly recommend this location for the following reasons: 1. Clean, comfortable rooms. I even had housekeeping service the second night of my stay without requesting it, which is something that the hotel industry has done away with post-COVID. 2. Friendly, helpful staff. 3. A delicious, well stocked breakfast buffet, with all the types of food typically found at Hampton Inns. 4. I stayed during a season when the days were warm and the nights cold. The air conditioner and heather both worked very well to keep the room comfortable. 5. The location was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and is located in a safe and new part of town. I spent two nights at the Hampton Inn Del Rio, and would have liked to have stayed longer!

Nearly summer and the A/C did not cool the room down. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The floors felt filthy. The shower had hair all over the walls. The shower pressure was horrible. This is a shame. Price does not come close. The breakfast was lousy. I don’t think I would return. I am a Hilton honors member. For the price they should build a double tree hotel.

Experienced roaches in the wee hours of the AM and couldn’t sleep. The temperature of the room was muggy and we kept lowering for the room to get comfortable. The handle of the door was barely hanging on.

All was good. Breakfast was nothing to brag about but few are. It was what we expected. Rooms were clean, electrical outlets adequate as were the towels. Check in was fast and friendly. Parking was good. Places to eat nearby.

Well after this last minute emergency stay I must admit that the bar for what would be considered excellence in Del Rio has been raised. The late afternoon staff Management and Assistant solved one problem after another getting check-in accomplished and the morning breakfast was as awesome as advertised with check out an even paced process not a rushed chore. Other area hotels looked to cause problems but these employees looked to solve them.

nondesrcipt hotel. in 2021 it is time that hotels did away with the individual wasteful bottles in the bathroom. The water flow was very fast which is a waste of water. otherwise the room had all the usual equipment

Time for renovations. What was once the best hotel in Del Río has now become equal to or just slightly above the worst. Not a good look for Hilton brand. The hotel shower door not working didn’t appear clean and the service is average.
