I stayed here for an extended work trip in November. As a lifetime diamond member I can tell you this hotel is really going out of their way to work with what they have and the kindness of the staff is the icing on the Cake. Hotel is a little older with carpeted rooms and older style furnishings, but the rooms are well maintained and you can tell maintenance works overtime to keep the rooms and common areas clean and in working order. Housekeeping does a phenomenal job and front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. Bonus: can use your loyalty credit for breakfast, the attached restaurant or minimart. Saw lots of locals coming in for breakfast each day. Book the lakeside room, it’s worth it.

Nice hotel in a great location on the lake. Quiet, comfortable and clean stay with good staff service. My only complaint is that there was a significant amount of repair work being done on the property with disruptions in power, so no elevators for a period of time, and delayed breakfast service. I'm generally fine with all that if I'm notified ahead of time so that I can factor that into my decision. Otherwise, a good stay.

We just completed at stay at the DoubleTree in Bemidji. We arrived for a wedding with staff greeting us and supplying us with cute bags the wedding party had placed at the front desk for each of their guests. The staff was great from the start. On our second night, a historical storm swept through Bemidji with 100+ mph winds. The warning sirens went off in the hotel rooms telling everyone to evacuate to the stairwells. The town had extensive damage, there was no power in the town (or hotel) and as people slowly made their way to their rooms after the storm there was a calm that the staff brought. Curious guests ran out to the parking lot to survey the storm damage which included downed light poles in the parking lot along with debris from buildings, etc. Several of us sat with other family members and wedding guests on the second floor landing just processing what had happened. A staff member walked by and asked "are you ok and do you need anything". We were all just fine, just not tired at 2am from what had just happened. We said we were good and I asked, "are you ok and can we do anything for you". With exhaustion evident, she looked at me and responded that she was ok and thanked me for asking and followed up with she had had better nights. She was checking every area of the hotel for guests that might need help. I do not recall her name, but she was doing everything she could to insure guests were taken care of and were safe and secure while meeting their needs. Additionally, that following day the town was in disarray with everything shut down and with no electricity there was no where to get food (the town had been declared a state of emergency). The hotel had 3 grills set up outside and was feeding anyone who walked up either chicken sandwiches or hamburgers free of charge. They also had bottles of water available. I cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel in a moment of crisis they were still making sure guests had what they needed despite knowing electricity would take several days to be restored and while trying to make repairs to their facility that suffered damages. When you stay here you will be taken care of and the rooms are nice and the view is beautiful. We had a very fun and nice stay despite the storm. I would stay here again any day.

The top choice for couples, or families. The views are great! Lake and beach at your door. Luxury in the North lakes at its best! Even has guest use EV charging. Why stay off the lake to save $70? Driving to the beach or water sports is not as fun. Here it was all at our fingertips.

We stayed at this hotel for almost 2 months on a business trip. You name the problem, that problem is at this hotel. Dirty rooms with extreme dirt everywhere, stinky cigarette smell from bed sheets. Air conditioner is continuously blowing dirt and you will see everywhere on the tables, chairs... Cleaning people are extremely annoying - they will be watching TV in your room (supervisor explanation is - they are relaxing!), they will bang your doors even if do not disturb board is there, they will open cupboards even if you tell them do NOT open. We lost some cash! Safe deposit box does not work. Cheap and torned furniture. Cheap breakfast with extremely unprofessional and rude staff. Always you will see grease and 'left over food' on the 'fresh plates' and cutlery. I have been traveled almost half of the world. I never saw such dirty breakfast plates and cutlery at any restaurant. The way they 'try' to clean plates and put cutlery in napkins is very odd, YACK! I can write pages and pages of stories about this dirty hotel.

There was an uncharacteristic gathering in the lobby of the hotel for two days making it difficult/uncomfortable to access the elevators. The partying apparently continued during the night as door slamming could be heard all night.

Super friendly staff. Room is spotless with soft fluffy towels, comfy bed. High end Crabtree amenities in bathroom, Kerrigan coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. We stayed in room 460 with lake view balcony. Could watch ducks and listen to Loons call. Highly recommend

I love staying here. It's right on the lake and I've enjoyed biking around the lake every time that I work/stay here. Clean and comfortable rooms. Having a restaurant attached is convenient, too. Book early as the hotels in town might be booked or expensive.

Nice location on the lake with access to walking trails. Hotel needs an upgrade. Desk chairs have peeling vinyl, mattresses don’t fit the beds, mold in showers. Shower faucets hard to turn. Not up to typical Doubletree standards.
我们参加家庭聚会,非常喜欢酒店在海边、Green Mill旁边的位置。太完美了!
