Stayed two nights, just what you expect from a Travelodge, free parking close to outlet shops, the lake and some restaurants our choice La Fiesta a short drive away.

Everything was good apart from bathroom door did not shut properly and hair all in bathroom from the shower to the floor. Other then that great hotel as this is second time of going but no problem first time

I’m always happy to stay at Travelodge Doncaster Lakeside. Vaughan is consistently welcoming, extremely helpful and always goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. As a business traveller spending three or four nights away from home each week, that level of service is very much appreciated and makes a real difference.

Good location, clean room, lovely view. Vaughan on reception was super helpful. There was a group of us going to a party and he made sure we all had rooms close together, gave us a lakeside view, took a photo of us in our fancy dress and gave us details of a taxi company to use. All really good.

Booked in very quickly and had room 111 for a single night only using it for a stop on route to York. I could not fault it, very clean and tidy, a decent amount of tea/coffee facilities and shower/hair wash bottles. There was a small wall hung television and a few welcomed chairs too. The highlight of the stay was the beautiful view over the lake so room 111 offers this. Subway takeaway is directly next door and there are ample places dotted within minutes away, McDonald's, Brewers Fayre and a few superstores as well as much more. It's a few minutes from the M18 and about 15 minutes from the A1. Visited 26th of December 2025.
