When you stop at a Travelodge, you expect budget accommodation that is clean and you have a good night's sleep. Pleased to say that after a poor experience recently at another Travelodge (see my review of Newquay Travelodge), this stay restored our faith in the brand as they delivered on expectations. Also the staff seemed very friendly but we did not interact with them much. Only real downsides were the surroundings (lots of litter outside in the service area, but that is not down to Travelodge) and the lack of eating places in the immediate vicinity. There is a Greggs, Subway and Burger King at Podimore services but by the time we went to eat (just before 6pm) only the Burger King remained open (and with that closing at 7pm). There was a steakhouse about a half a mile away but unfortunately that was not open on the day we visited.

Super clean hotel. Best Travelodge I've seen so far and staff can't be anymore helpful! Seonaid was just wonderful and honestly couldn't have been so helpful. Also she was just so lovely she really was and I can't thank her enough. Thank you again Senaid

We had a really good stay! The hotel was easy to find, as it was at the services on an A road. There was a service station there, and other facilities, so we could easily have bought food or other supplies. It was well placed for the venue we were attending, which was in a rural location, and we felt lucky to have found a hotel so close to where we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything you'd need for a short stay. Although the hotel is at the services, the rooms were very quiet, as the hotel is set back from the road. The parking was easy, and the staff were friendly. What more could you want from a budget hotel??

The staff treated me badly after coming out of a domestically violent relationship saying in sarcastic voices and pretending to cry as they said awwee shed been abused ! Then lying to management about this incident. I got asked to leave and the staff remain . I will be reporting them all to the police so they can investigate it all. . I would not recommend this hotel

I’m well aware Travelodge are promoting a freshen up of their hotels, he also promote the Sleepeezee mattress’s they apparently use. Well personally I found their beds extremely uncomfortable and now have a terrible nights sleep at their hotels! Shame, because we are snd have been loyal customers

Lovely hotel, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Can't remember the two ladies on reception but think one was the manager or assistant. We stayed on the 18th October and checked in about 3/4 ish. They were great and so helpful. Had a great sleep and would recommend this hotel. Would stay again.

We stayed here for one night to do Christmas shopping in street and in Yeovil. Great location as between both places, easy to park, clean room, comfy bed and and a great price. Will come again next year.

Can I just say Molly and Chloe? Best customer service? I’ve had a long time travel lodge nothing seem too much trouble with a smile on my face with challenging customers at times during the morning so I hope the manager sees this and recognises it.
