Night manager was very welcoming and helpful, and had a nice chat with day manager on my way out. It's a Travelodge. Room was clean, and kettle and telly both worked. In-house food offering is a vending machine, but there were great deals for dinner next-door at the Harvester. If you've forgotten any bits and bobs (I forgot my phone charger) there's Home Bargains across the road.

We stayed at Basingstoke travelodge and were greeted warmly. The rooms were clean & comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and we found it value for money. The rooms were noisy from the rooms above but this stopped at a reasonable hour allowing a decent nights sleep.

Great location- handy for central Basingstoke and touring Hampshire. Very friendly staff and so helpful! Rooms were bright and clean. Beds very comfortable. Had a great nights sleep! Good value. Will stay here again!

Arrived for a 2-night stay the other day with a friend (4th to the 6th Jan'), and felt compelled to write a review. As usual, the Travelodge doesn't disappoint. The location of this one in Basingstoke was great, tucked quietly away, but still easy to get to. Rooms were clean and tidy of course, as they usually are. Staff were helpful from the get-go (which was great, considering we'd travelled 250 miles!). From the gentleman on the desk on the first night, to the ladies who were at the desk on the 2nd night (I think one of those was actually the hotel manager!), and they were there the next morning as we'd checked out also Had a few queries on *both* nights, but was helped promptly on both occasions (so thank you!). Would stay at this one again, for both the location of the Travelodge itself, and the helpfulness of the staff. So thank you for a pleasant stay all-round! Much appreciated. We will be back

A man opened my room door at 2am while I was asleep. It startled me and I was frightened. I shouted to him but he said that he was the duty manager. He then closed the door and left. It took me a long time to get back to sleep, worrying that it could happen again. I wasn’t sure the man was honest. He could have been anyone. My wife says that If I’d have been a woman I would have been beside myself. I did complain to the manager in the morning who said she would investigate. The manager called me on my phones later in the day to explain what happened, apologised and offered me a £30.00 credit towards a future Travelodge stay. I never received the credit and I am not happy. Everyone I’ve shared this with has said I should have called the police. In hindsight I wish I had.

Excellent place to stay, comfortable bed, very clean room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of things in the local area. We'll be back when we're in the area.

We stayed in Basingstoke,price was excellent for New Years eve, staff were friendly,room had the basics and was clean. Didn't hear any oise but had been drinking,

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in not only the room was clean and smelt nice it has amazing heating too. The two gentlemen and the front desk was very nice and welcome even helping us open a bottle of water that we couldn’t open😂. I definitely will be staying again and highly recommend this hotel the only downside is the pressure of the shower is a little bit slow but all in all very good hotel and amazing staff.
