Stayed here for a work trip and I wish didn't. Stayed in room 17 at the end of the main building on the ground floor and every night at around 9pm the most horrendous constant deep hum would start from what I could only assume was the room above as the hum would start at random times and last ALL night. I flagged this to the two guys at reception and there response was VERY nonchalant and told me to just claim back the money for the room rather than do anything about the fact I couldn't sleep through the noise, I gave up after this. The premier rooms are on the first floor and it seems premier inn would rather not upset the customers in the more expensive rooms at the detriment of the ground floor customers. This noise was clearly being caused by the person above but the staff here did nothing to help me and sleep was a real issue during my 3 night stay. Avoid room 17 if like me, you need to sleep after a hard day's work, shocking, truly shocking.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Premier Inn North on a business visit. The room service, cleanliness and overall experience was extremely satisfying. Marta was brilliant and very professional. Her politeness and attention to detail was great. The atmosphere was good and friendly. The amenities were perfect, clean and tidy.

Came down to Southampton to visit my grandchildren for the half term. Had a great stay in this premier inn. The team are very friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean. They have a beefeater next door which I ate breakfast at every morning

The bed felt luxurious, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the high-quality toiletries to the perfectly maintained facilities. The hotel’s atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing, making it easy to unwind. The dining options were excellent, with delicious food and outstanding service. Every area of the property was impeccably clean and well cared for. Overall, this hotel truly delivers a five-star experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service.

Came here for a hospital appointment with my partner. Tobey and his team here at Southampton were very friendly and accommodating. They helped me to book taxi's to and from the hospital. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, the housekeepers did a great job on my room
