I stay at this hotel frequently for work and I think it’s a great hotel. I always get a lovely welcome from whoever is on reception. The rooms are basic but clean and really spacious and the showers are great!! Remember to take a hairdryer though as they aren’t provided. The bar and restaurant area is lovely and modern and I can’t fault the breakfast in the morning. There’s a lot of choice for me to stay at other hotels in the area but I always choose this one.

It was good for what u need. I review places and upon arrival Jess at reception was great and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I ordered food and it was really busy for a monday however food came out fast but the dessert took a while. The happy hour deal was great and the gentleman who served me was ok but a bit blunt. The supervisor can’t remember her name nardia I’m sure brought my dessert after the waiter didn’t come and asked if everything was okay. Very lovely and apologetic. Apart from it being busy overall a good place if passing by or need a cheap night stay.

We had very poor customer service during our stay . We use travel lodge all the time and this is the first time we have been so disappointed. My husband has cancer and is unwell and despite it being January all the corridor windows were open and it was freezing and so was our room . So I ask at reception for extra blankets and am given a flat ‘no we do not give out extra duvets ‘ , then book ask to order food and I am given the unwelcoming ‘ it is at least a 40 minute wait ( the restaurant was not busy ‘ . During our wait I check the website - yes you can get extra blankets !! . I point this out and still nothing Will not be using this one again and will be complaining

Decent budget stay with excellent staff who swiftly swapped our initial room after noticing a urine smell in the carpets. The replacement was spotless, though bathroom had mild hay odour, black/pink mould in shower crevices, and an unstable creaking toilet. Fire alarms tested twice post-check-in were disruptive for sensory-sensitive guests. Vending lacked affordable bottled water. Overall, service saves it but maintenance needs work.

Bit apprehensive after visiting travel lodge 5 years ago in Chester which was very basic and put me off usi g them. Pride park was very clean had soap, good towels, good size shower and big room with nice furnishings. Couldn't fault it. Cafe and bar looked welcoming although didn't use facilities due to staying with family.

Great facilities, big rooms, comfortable beds, clean and great value for money. This hotel is also in a great location for the football ground and has shops and restaurants close by. Really friendly and helpful staff. A great stay.

Myself and my daughter stayed for one night this December to allow us to spend time with friends nearby for the weekend. It was quite late when we checked in but the staff were fabulous, helped with car parking and were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean and other guests were quiet when arriving back to their rooms later as noise was minimal. The beds were comfy and we slept well. No issues with the temperature, didn't check where we could adjust as it wasn't necessary. We had breakfast before we checked out with was perfect for our needs. The area was clean and well stocked. Great value for our stay here. Thank you!
