A lovely welcoming hotel, handy for the M6. Quiet rooms and well kept. The restaurant was of an exceptional nature for Premier Inn , with staff member Alisha going out of her way to make both our evening meal & breakfast pleasurable and relaxing. The food was well cooked & presented and a good selection of drinks too.

Lovely friendly, helpful staff, gave us the room we requested & always greeted with a smile. The restaurant has had a makeover & is lovely, bright, warm & welcoming. We had breakfast there every day & evening meal on 4 days, all were really good. Special thanks to Alisha & Jack who looked after us so well

We stayed as a family to go to the races. Very friendly staff clean rooms. We had breakfast which was lovely we ordered and was freshly cooked. Would certainly stay here again. In a good position to get to a lot of places. We went to newton le Willows to get train to Liverpool.

Very friendly and helpful staff were the highlight. The hotel itself is being refurbished and the restaurant is impeccable.

You can generally guarantee that the premier inn will be clean, the bed will be comfy and the shower will be nice. Haydock premier inn did not disappoint. The bed I. Particular was very comfortable. Staff in the social serving breakfast, were very nice with thanks to Sam for her excellent service. Bar staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend for a budget stay.

Room was usual Premier Inn standard, although no cups to make a drink. Luckily didn’t need any as late arrival (had a coffee from McDonalds conveniently next door) and had drinks in the restaurant at breakfast and left early. Some road noise from the East Lancs road and industrial estate. Light directly outside the window shone underneath and above the curtains. Room heater clicked on and off and lit up when doing so, eventually had to turn it off as it was quite distracting. Fortunately it wasn’t too cold the night we stayed. Went for breakfast in the restaurant attached. Not the best experience having to walk through a cloud of cigarette and vape smoke as several Premier Inn employees were stood outside the reception door smoking and chatting. Not sure why they thought directly outside the reception door was the best place to stand or why they thought paying guests would want to walk through their disgusting cigarette smoke! Breakfast was cooked by a young gentleman who looked like he’d been dragged through a hedge! Uniform not the cleanser or smartest and definitely hadn’t been ironed, wearing a woolly hat with long, unbrushed hair hanging over his shoulders. Some building works taking place outside reception, no lights at night or signs to show where to walk.

Was actually very shocked as outside looks like a prison but inside was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was well worth it definitely get your money worth. Would recommend this place and would stay again .

Very poor experience of staying in the Premier Inn Haydock. Paid for an early check in, to be giving a room next to where a Pneumatic drill was being used. Shaking the entire room and making rest impossible. Had to be moved room due to the incessant noise and vibrating room. Had I know this hotel had construction work ongoing, I would NOT have booked it. All in all, not impressed.
