Stayed here for 2 nights while we were touring Scotland. Lois at reception couldn't have been more helpful when we checked in. The family room was clean and excellent value for money and in such a handy location with very little traffic noise considering it's in a motorway service station. I would recommend.

Quiet for the location. Room 9 ground floor. Dog allowed great. Room basic, bed was really comfy, heating was good and adjustable and ensuite had a bath. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

I use Travelodge throughout the UK; every room is always warm, clean and dry. This was my first time at this venue, but it stood out for two reasons: 1) All three receptionists I met were welcoming and professional (it's not always the same at every Travelodge). In particular, I had a problem with the security of my car; without me asking, Lois offered to keep an eye on it for me and let me know if anything was amiss. Thank you, Lois. 2) The WiFi was the best I've ever experienced in any Travelodge. Maybe I was fortunate that the router was close to my room - I don't know - but it was 100% reliable. Next time I stay I shall ask for the same room. Other points to note: (i) A motorway venue but zero traffic noise (ii) Motorway services fewer than 40 metres from Travelodge entrance

Stayed at this hotel for the night on our way back up north to break up the drive. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing seemed to be a hassle for them. Never caught the managers name but she was great and went above and beyond to help us book our stay. Housekeeper I think her name was Danielle was lovely and helped us with new towels and tea. Will make sure to use this hotel on our travels more often!

I was away on business for 6 weeks and the company put us up in this hotel. I dont have one bad word to say about the staff, always very helpful, polite and accommodating and always down for a laugh for 5 mins. Rooms are decent, been in a few of them and not had any issues with any of them! Decent spot for a motorway services hotel. Would stay again in future on my own back! Thank you to the Staff!

My experience with the Travelodge was insightful and charming. The staff helped me with changing rooms where appropriate and were a friendly bunch. Especially the staff Sarah and Sharon who were very respectful and friendly. They made the stay worth it and I would recommend this hotel for people to visit in the future.

It's a Motorway Service Hotel, it covers all the basics, a room, a shower, and eateries onsite with a nearby town for exploration. The hotel is dated, but so are many in cities around the country. Its best feature is the staff, they are always accommodating, helpful and will to talk and listen, which is nice for longer term guests. The rooms are cleaned as and when we request it, and if anything is needed, the staff sort it asap. Downsides are a lack of CCTV on the carpark, but that is for all the venues, not jut the hotel
