Clean rooms but never seen a cooked breakfast looking so sorry for itself! Paid £10.99 for the Ultimate Breakfast...It was so bad. Cold to the touch and looked like it had been there for ages. The juices and bread were also poor. Staff were not very attentive and when I complained they just said they would pass it on.

Stayed here while in the area for a family funeral. While not exactly situated in the most picturesque of places, this place is just off the main A380 and handy for short stays. Plenty of free parking, staff friendly and welcoming and rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast was OK, first morning could really have done with being hotter as most things were pretty cold and the toaster needs several minutes to even brown the bread. Not too many places to eat within walking distance; the beefeater next door while still showing on google earth closed 2 years ago and a good few pubs a mile or so away.

Visiting Newton Abbot for a family event +this hotel ticked all the boxes. Location perfect,staff very helpful + really made me feel welcome.

Hotel revamped was very shabby before But the restaurant clean and tidy food ok staff friendly bur time wise for food and drink discusting booked for 7.15p got food at 8.15pm and loads other people the same 1 cook 1 person on reception and I person in the bar and looking after the restaurant very poor won't be going to Newton Abbot Premier Inn again
