I had a wonderful stay. I was welcomed by the staff with a smile who were very pleasant and lovely. I had no problems. The room was really spacious and the bed was so comfortable. It was easy to get to places with everything around the hotel. I would recommend the Travelodge. I shall be going back very soon A+++++

I dont usually do reviews but as the staff have been so great to me and welcoming its the least I could do. Great stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and quick to to help. Constructive criticism : Wifi appalling, took ages logging on and waiting for pages to load , especially on the free. When paying over the odds for wifi you expect a fast connection. Room: main door has gaps where you can see outside. Would expect some kind of insulation at the least (this is on 3 rooms that i stayed). However, I had a most enjoyable stay and was comfortable. Could do with drawer unit on the main shelf where tv is for paperwork Bits and pieces et. Bed is not king size as advertised but suited my needs. Would certainly visit again.

From check in to check out, honestly I have no complaints. Staff were happy, smiley and honest. The only thing I had to wait for was my wifi code due to the mass of people checking in after me, so I was worried about being forgotten but the girl was so lovely to bring the code to my door within 10 minutes of checking in.

Very nice and quiet hotel, my room was very clean and staff were friendly and willing to help. Have no complaints and will definitely be returning.

Wonderful staff, but the noise from the petrol station prevented a good nights sleep. Would definitely suggest requesting a room facing away from the forecourt. Looking at the reviews this is an issue that has been raised multiple times before.

The team at this hotel made our stay for our wedding really comfortable and were accommodating to my requests and refreshing our room and allowing guests to arrive slightly earlier so they could get to the wedding on time. Lovely staff and clean hotel.

This hotel is perfect for my partner and I. A tidy location with good food near by and a gas station too. Staff were absolutely lovely, checked in by Kayliegh and William.

Got a lot more than expected for the price of the room. Great location within easy walk of both football and rugby stadiums. Fast food on your doorstep.

Arguably the best Travelodge I've stayed in - yes, the brand as a whole is no frills but what sets this hotel apart from the others (and as a true Essex girl, have been to many of them) is the exceptional service received by Iwona and her team. I am based up here regularly at the moment due to work so as I'm living here more than my home, I've found the team to be so kind, and genuinely care about your experience. My work messed up my rota and had to change my room type and I also work nights so should be asleep when I'm meant to check out and then check in 3 hours later - Iwona ensured that I had my room available from when I finished my shift at 6am (instead of 3pm Check in times) so that I can be fine for work the following evening. She didn't have to, but she did it without me even asking and I was forever grateful. I also have to have a lot of stuff delivered for work, they take my parcels in and deliver them to my door as well without hesitation (whereas another Travelodge had a go at me for it!). I've really got to know the team and there is a real family feel about it. I would 100% recommend staying here - you will be well looked after! P.s they even let you use their microwave! 😂
