Stayed after visiting the Cotswolds, bit of a mixed bag- booked premier plus room, nice enough room, bath lovely but quite high to step in and out of, toiletries were lovely and nice big towels. Could have done with an extra pillow but bed was comfortable enough. Couldn’t get air con to stay on so sweating buckets , no idea why the windows can’t be opened! Only a few channels on tv and not really a bar area to sit in. Bought the meal deal really wished we hadn’t- no idea how one person is supposed to keep an eye on guests checking in , taking orders and serving food ! Waited 45 mins for starters bbq chicken wings turned out to be chicken wings swimming in a bowl of bbq sauce and fish baked to within a inch of its life but again one person having to do everything isn’t great. Breakfast had a good choice but was cold with the world’s slowest toaster! The staff are going a good job but could do with some help.

Premier inn Witney ( Oxford) February 2026 Premier inn Witney ( Oxford) I would firstly like to congratulate the Premier inn Witney reception team, composed of Zoe For her excellent, friendly, professional, and at all times “ going the extra mile” to accommodate guests room requirements. I have had the pleasure of conversing, with mainly Zoe, in both the reception and catering team. And I wholeheartedly can state that there friendly and professional manner, has made it an absolute pleasure to stay at the afore mentioned location. Some may say “ That it composes there everyday requirements”. However, I would beg to differ. As a regular traveller on business. I have fortunately, experienced what can only be classed as “ below par” standard of customer delivery service. In various establishments. As a gentleman, I would never complain. And thus, I feel it imperative to enlighten establishments, companies, when indeed excellent client delivery is delivered on a continued basis. Zoe really does envisage what client delivery service should comprise of. Meeting and exceeding, the clients request ls when at all possible. Service delivery, with a continued smile and friendly manner, throughout there working day capacity. The three wonderful ladies afore mentioned. Deliver this everyday, and strive to a “ Nothing is too much attitude” approach. They are an absolute credit to your organisation. And I trust and hope, you will endeavour to commend them accordingly. “A business is built in the roots of its employees” Should you require anything further, please feel free to contact me anytime. Thank you for your time and patience in reading my review. Warmest regards Gianluca Lombardelli.

Excellent location for visiting the farmers dog. Doesn’t look good on the outside-could do with a paint job and sprucing up but clean and tidy inside, with welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was closed due to unforeseen circumstances but this didn’t affect us- was open for breakfast which was very good

Our stay was lovely as always. A very special thank you to Sarah in the restaurant/kitchen, she was truly outstanding. Despite managing everything single-handedly, she remained warm, positive, and incredibly attentive. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness did not go unnoticed, and she really went above and beyond to make our breakfasts exceptional. Please pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation.

The staff are friendly, but that is the best I can say about the hotel. We have stayed here a few times and each time it feels a little bit shabbier. It is in severe need of redecoration. The room was clean but tatty and tired, and the dreary brown colour scheme is depressing. The windows don’t open so there is no fresh air, and being on the ground floor in front of the car park meant we had to keep the curtains drawn, so no natural light. There was no remote for the TV, but it was late in the evening when we discovered it and we didn’t fancy getting dressed to go to reception for help. The towel rails were cold, so nowhere to dry towels, and there was a permanent puddle on the floor next to the shower. There was only one pillow each, and the duvets are heavy and hot. The bed was not comfortable and I now have back and neck ache. I think it’s probably worth paying a few more pounds and staying somewhere a little nicer.

Not the best of premier inns. Where do I start overall the room was very clean and spacious it had everything I needed. But the breakfast was not edible. The bacon was hard, eggs were over done the beans were not hot and hash browns were overcooked also.

This trip was a perfect antidote to the January blues! We loved this Premier Inn. It’s a lovely base to explore The Cotswolds, Oxford and surrounding area. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was a real feast. Staff are really friendly and helpful. A very special thank you to Sarah who really looked after us. We were visiting The Farmer’s Dog restaurant, a few miles away and the hotel was in a perfect location. Definitely recommend this Premier Inn.
