Very good, no complaints, staff were friendly and a good laugh, room was comfortable and the food was decent, couldn’t have asked for much more 😎

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great stay at Travelodge. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you need for a good night’s rest. What really stood out was the staff — genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Made the stay feel easy and relaxed. Would happily stay again and recommend it to others.

Room smelt like wet dog. Puddles of dog wee all over reception and in the hallways. Found flees in the bathroom and in the bed.

The stay was our first one away in the bay, all i can say is a huge thank you to the young cook who was working all over christmas and done so with a smile and Christmas cheer, he was a true saint all the time. I would definitely be staying here again.

Staff very very rude sat behind reception on there phones very unhelpful dirty glasses everywhere not collected so drinks not served in right glass girl behind the bar very very rude witnessed bad language to an older couple food was discusting cold and not cooked properly breakfast ran out boy that cooked was very rude and ignorant had a bad attitude towards customers I have stayed in a lot of travel lodges and never had a problem but would never go to this one again

What a stink! When you can’t use the facilities you pay for and nothing can be done or will be done. Just a quick not really sorry, sorry and off you go! Booked a room at this hotel and as I walked into the room a terrible smell hit me! In the bathroom it was worse! The shower curtain!!!!! No way I’m touching that! The whole evening that smell was prevalent. I suspect it was the cloths that the cleaning staff use to wipe down surfaces. Then it dawned on me! Bad smells are actually accumulated bacteria that can actually cause disease and other health issues. We the public trust these hotel services to keep their facilities hygienically clean. They must be held responsible. I don’t believe that Travelodge will actually do much about this situation. I know I am prepared to take this issue to Health Services. I’m really tired of experiencing bad practises and not doing anything about it.

Staff are rude. They use all of the disabled bays and claim you can’t use them as they’re for the staff not the actual disabled visitors.

The positives (good location close to sea with some rooms having sea views and the usual cheap prices if you book in advance are sadly offset by numerous issues. Put simply, this hotel is falling apart! My first room had nasty smell and the bathroom door kept catching, creating a few scary moments thinking I was locked in. The staff were great in getting me a new room, but in that room the outer window catches were both broken, as was the shelf in toilet as was the soap dispenser in shower! This needs a good repair schedule booked in, as these issues, while small, do cause issues.
