A very good Travelodge - very comfortable and quiet even though on a busy road. Plenty of parking with a very good restaurant next door. Staff excellent good greeting and farewell asking had everything been good and up to standard. The room was a good size with a shower room which had probably been modernised and renovated recently. Everything in good order and correct temperature. A very good Travelodge.

Myself and my partner stay here often for work purposes, and so far no complaints. Rooms are always spotless and beds are comfy. Pub and 24 hour shop close by. Also a special shoutout to a great member of staff Darren, who is always so friendly and has gone above and beyond to help us without being asked. Whenever we see Darren on the desk we know we will be well looked after for any needs we may have. A very lovely gentleman.

Stayed over for work close by, Absolutely amazing on all aspects, very clean, friendly and nothing was a problem, a personal shout out to the manager Allison, who was so friendly bubbly and made my stay so welcoming, attitude is amazing and makes all the difference, a credit to your company, will definitely stay again 100% recommend!!!

Surprisingly quiet rooms despite the proximity of the A1M. I stayed twice at the nearby Grand Hotel Gosforth, where the rooms were poorly insulated from noise and some smelled unpleasant. Next time, I would definitely choose Travelodge.

Marked down because no breakfast actually in the hotel, but the pub on site does a belter. Reception and staffing friendly. Could do with coat hooks in addition to the clothes hangers. Some road noise, but a good kip near to Gosforth centre.

Before we arrived, we tried to phone the hotel more than 10 times and nobody picked up. At arrival, the receptionist didn’t even apologise, but she offered us a cot, which we needed. The reception area seems quite left alone. Only during check out, the lady smiled and thanked us for our stay. Other than that, you get what you pay for. Recommend if you go for a night before your flight.

Very clean and staff really helpful. No hot breakfast options. Bed okay but pillows really hard and uncomfortable. Plenty facilities round about if you need anything. Can be quite noisy at night so not for a quiet stay. Overall a good place for overnight stay for Newcastle races etc

Hotel very convenient, quite close to the A1 but we weren't aware of the traffic inside the hotel. Good base for visiting the city centre and also stopping off point for further travel to beautiful Northumberland.
