Been visiting Cribbs Causway for 6 to 7 weeks now and so had the chance to see the team over a period of time. They're always friendly and engaging with clean rooms and good food, a real bonus. I would like to highlight Cathy. She is has a smile for every person who eats, she talks to customers I a human way, waits for them to decide or helps them. Ive seen her at busy times, the service doesn't drop. Shes an asset to the business. If you want to stay somewhere, I would recommend here without any hesitation or concern! Great hotel with great team.

Really nice hotel and very friendly staff. Especially a lady called Rachel, she greeted me with a big smile and was very chatty. She really made me feel welcome and was even more helpful when I raised an issue with my room, great staff member!!!

The given postcode took us slightly off course but we found it ok. There was plenty of room in the car park but no signage to suggest that guests could or could not park in the under cover spaces. Upon entering the hotel, I was unable to use the self check in because my phone signal was very poor and couldn't load the email with the bar code, However the member of staff at check-in desk was very helpful. She was very pleasant, warm and professional. The room, on first impression was very tidy but insufficient tea/sugar and coffee and the tea spoon had clearly not been washed, it was sticky and dirty. The bathroom was clean albeit there was a long black hair in the shower and neither of us have long or black hair. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel in a room booked for two. The bed was quite a bit smaller than we are used to. Other than that our experience is possitive and would stay again. Breakfast was really good and really made the start of my day.

Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights overall it was a great experience! The room was clean, friendly staff and comfy bed. We didn’t expect much as other hotels we have stayed in wasn’t that great but this one didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay here.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay, to visit our daughter and go to a match at Bristol Rovers. Having previously had several mediocre stays for a higher price at other hotels in the area, we figured we might as well go for a 'Purple Palace'. We found the self check-in easy to use. Room was fairly clean, though a little scuffed in places. We were glad we'd eaten dinner at Gloucester services, on the way down, as the restaurant was rammed when we arrived. We may have just got very unlucky, but other guests made using the bar/restaurant/reception area unpleasant. It appeared there was a junior dance competition being held in the area. Parents very noisy and many of them oblivious to their daughters running and cartwheeling back and forth. One of the staff members ended up politely intervening when it turned to screeching. Thankfully we only heard one burst of shouting in the corridor when we went to bed. 1st morning, breakfast was very busy. Without asking, we were offered a table tucked away near the bar where it was quieter. 2nd night, the bar area was better, but still several conversations going on that were VERY loud. Pros Comfy bed. We slept well Room temp easy to get perfect Good value for money Pleasant staff who have did their best to reduce the impact of other guests. Convenient location Cons Parking signs outside conflicting with those inside. Some of the breakfast items dry/overcooked.

Access to the hotel was good and the parking is free, it is self check in, which is good, but may be a little confusing for elderly guests. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy and reasonably spacious. It was very quiet and we were not disturbed by noise. the breakfast was pretty good, although it lacked choice for my wife who is coeliac(GF). Overall a great place to stay if you are travelling from Bristol airport (30 mins away), or want to break a long journey.
