Had a lovely stay at the chesterfield hotel! Jeremy was the receptionist and is honestly the most polite most nicest guy! And is so down to earth! Really hope he’s on next time I’m here! Would 100% recommend this place! Such a cosey place!

We stayed here 3 nights for a 2 day visit to the skating championships at the Utilita in Sheffield. In terms of location it is about 30 mins drive. For whatever reason, accommodation for these nights in Sheffield was very expensive, so it was good to stay somewhere charging normal reasonable rates for our stay. In the nicest way, its a Travelodge so i dont expect 5 star luxury with a pool and spa, but as were out for the full days we did not need anything more than a comfy bed and hot shower. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, special mention to Alistair (known also as Natalie, private joke) and Kelly from the cleaning team, but to be fair everyone we dealt with was extremely nice. Nearby there is a Lidl 5 mins walk, Dominoes pizza closer, 2 Indian restaurants, various other fast food places also within a short walk, and of course the Burger King next door. So plenty of food options.

Jeremy was very friendly and lovely to talk to! He should get a rewarded for amazing service! Helped me with local information and extra milk and coffee for the room!

Dominic was more than helpful from start to finish. He was extremely welcoming and friendly, and took the time to show us all the great local areas, which was especially appreciated as we were from out of the area. An amazing representative who really went above and beyond.

Jeremy was the most friendly and helpful receptionist. Very knowledgeable about the whole of Derbyshire. We've stayed here before and had the exact same experience with him.

Amazing hotel Coming back in January one of the best Travelodge we have stayed at Staff were so friendly and apologetic for the doors having old fashioned key locks but tbh makes things more secure Can't fault the place

Stayed for a weekend visiting friends, hotel inside and out was spotless - a big shout out to backroom staff - and the reception staff were outstanding, friendly with lots of local knowledge. Despite being next to a main road, hotel itself was very quiet and had two very good nights sleep. Excellent value for money and look forward to staying there again in Februry.

The hotel was great value for money. The room was clean and bed comfy. I arrived quite stressed as scammers had hacked my phone and accounts. Jeremy on reception calmed me down and was so kind. He was professional at all times an asset to the company.
