We had a fabulous reception from Amy when we arrived. She was so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for her The evening meal was great and very good value for money . Breakfast was superb and we spoke to the chef who was a lovely happy cheaply . The reception staff in the morning if our departure could not have been pleasant and very happy. All in all they made what was hard journey for us a very happy and pleasant experience. I would certainly come back . Good value for money . Fabulous helpful friendly staff . Good clean room .

Arrived earlier than anticipated as was expecting Christmas traffic delays travelling from the north West but happily no delays . Unfortunately despite our room being ready the guy would not let us check in unless we coughed up £15. The restaurant wasn't open so we couldn't even get a meal or a coffee while we waited for the time to check in so we had to drive around to find somewhere for refreshments. When we got back we were still too early and I got quite cross asking what were we supposed to do as en route to Devon from the north West. Only then did the guy decide to check us in !! Terrible service , a premium inn just off the motorway you would expect to get some refreshments especially as its Christmas!!! Awful 😖

Very poor experience in this below average hotel. Musky smells in room. Cold restaurant. Average meals and very small. 4 fire alarms in one night. Had to stand in a cold carpark at 11o'clock to be counted. 3 more fire alarms and 3 hours before we got to bed to sleep won't recommend this hotel ever and won't go there again

Have stayed many times at this Premier Inn and never been disappointed. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are excellent and the bed wonderful. What was impressive this time was the fact that the hotel was full on a Saturday night and there was no noise at night. We look forward to our next visit next week!

Everything was excellent during my stay. Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. Facilities were as expected. Range of snacks in the foyer from a vending machine although Beefeater was next door.

I'm giving this average - we have stayed in some nice P Inns but this one is really in need of a refresh. It is very well situated that was our main reason for staying just off the M5 and easy to find. A slow check in, difficulty finding our booking for some reason ! The room was adequate but sorely needs decorating, I would have taken photos but too tired after a long journey suffice to say many scrapes and gashes on walls and paint work and bad repair finishes in bathroom. Table lampshade dented in places. Tiny tv compared to other inns we have stayed in. Refreshments sorely lacking and walked numerous corridors to get supply. Carpets dirty and paintwork scuffed. Air con always baffles us too hot / too cold ! Long black hairs left in bath and toilet cleaner splashed on back of toilet and wall surfaces - looked as if the cleaner left in a hurry !! Breakfast plentiful however the cleanliness on the floor surfaces and serving areas left much to be desired. Bins over flowing with rubbish and only 8.30 in the morning. Huge milk jug far too heavy for partner to use with arthritic hands. Crockery from quests was cleaned away by staff however the tables were not wiped down, probably the reason why our table was so sticky !! Carpets really need attention rips in some, wonderful trip hazards and tears in leatherette seats is never an attractive look ! This might sound a bit of a damning review but P inn needs to buck up its ideas in some of their places and spend some money !! Would we stay again ? Probably purely for it's location !

When I arrived at the Premier Inn reception was busy with the staff chatting away to each other. I checked in and had asked for a ground floor room as I'm disabled and use a stick. I was asked when I'd phoned and booked the ground floor if I would like a room with a walk in shower and I'd said yes. Maybe that's why I was given a room so far away, at the very end of the building. I also had to enquire later about the restaurant as it was obvious where it was. The room was warm and comfortable and clean and the sound proofing was good. I think maybe I'd been spoilt by staying the previous Sunday at the Premier Inn in Walsall which was exceptional with both my room location, receptionist and restaurant servers. I found out that the restaurant wasn't open for meals until 5.30pm so booked a table for that time. I was served by a lovely Canadian lady who was so kind and helpful. I had a good restful night although there was a problem with the TV which I reported on leaving. I wouldn't stay here again.

Had a one night stay here. The hotel is fine, but it's clearly in need of modernisation. The rooms are looking tired, no sockets by the bed etc. The attached restaurant is also showing its age a bit, and staff are at times overworked trying to keep up with breakfast. The hotel is ok and we would stay again, but it's clearly overdue a bit of investment.
