The hotel is very close to the A483 so easy to find and convenient. Greeted warmly by all members of staff when coming across them, always pleasant and courteous. Rooms are good, bathrooms with some dinks and bangs along with some minor mould spots, a high-footfall establishment though so some wear and tear is expected. This is a popular hotel with people working away in manual trades, expect a little bit of noise at peak times. On the whole it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The attached restaurant, The Beeches. Ah…. Breakfast is served here (I use the term ‘served’ loosely) and a lot of the time the service is that slow I had to leave due to time constraints. There seems to be a shortage of staff and chef at breakfast, the hotel are aware of it and are trying to action the restaurant into rectifying this, it isn’t working. The food served at dinner in the restaurant was obviously pre-portioned and microwaved before serving, average at best. Hotel 4.5 Restaurant 2, avoid the restaurant

Good location , friendly welcome, good value rooms,clean,no road noise,excellent service and helpful staff Would defiantly stay again by far the cheapest and without a doubt great value for money above expectations!!

For the money you don’t expect a 5 star hotel however on arrival our room was not done. We had no sheets/towels. We decided to eat in the restaurant which was a mistake food was cold, hair in the meal and dirty cutlery. Going back to our room the beds had been made up and towels provide. However we were woken up in the middle of the night with screaming opposite our room with someone banging on the door opposite shouting a man’s name. We then decided to complain and after 4 emails with reference numbers/ voucher codes our names/ full address etc the complaints department said they could not see our booking ? I guess it must have just been a bad dream…

Stayed here for two nights while watching a football match in Wrexham. Convenient location, clean, comfortable and quiet. Despite mixed reviews for the restaurant we had a very good experience.

It's in a good location which you can reach using the A483 bypass. The ambience was nice and quiet, specially those who need a good night's rest. Staff were lovely and even helped us bring luggage in! For what you pay, you get a clean, decent sized room. Definitely worth the visit if going through Wrexham or visiting people living in the area!

Had a tombola set up for easter whose proceeds go to GOSH. Kids loved it! Many prizes set up for them to randomly win.
