We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to assist and make sure everything was just right. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, and we’d happily stay again.

We had a lovely overnight stay and couldn’t fault the experience. Stuart, the hotel manager, was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and clearly takes great pride in running the hotel. He was approachable, helpful, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests from the moment we arrived. The overall atmosphere reflected his attention to detail, right down to a particularly nice touch at check-in — a sign saying “Thank Crunchie It’s Friday”, with Crunchie bars available to help yourself to. Such a simple but thoughtful gesture that instantly made us smile and set the tone for the stay. A comfortable, relaxed, and well-managed hotel — we’d happily stay again.

Booked early check in, but was told they did not have any rooms ready, after waiting 40 mins they said there was 1 room ready out of the 3 booked. On entering the room there were still towels in the bath, rubbish in the bins and the bed was not made. The receptionist was very unhelpful as was the so called manager that was on shift at that time.
