The location is acceptable, although finding the hotel can be slightly confusing as the parking is located behind nearby businesses. The hotel itself is somewhat dated, but it is kept very clean. On arrival, I was given a key for a first floor room and only then informed that the lift was out of order. This did not appear to be a new issue, as there were several tired looking notices about it around the hotel. I was not informed of this problem prior to arrival. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels over the years, and while lift issues do occasionally happen, I have always been notified in advance and offered the option to cancel for a full refund or be rebooked at a nearby sister hotel. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. As I have a knee injury, carrying luggage up the stairs was not easy. The room itself was very clean, though dated, with standard Premier Inn amenities. Despite being next to a fairly busy road, the room was very quiet, which was a positive. Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn offering and was convenient. The staff were polite, but appeared disengaged and not particularly proactive. Would I return? Honestly, I am not sure. The lack of communication regarding the lift and the general lack of engagement from staff left a poor overall impression.

From the outset on walking into the reception area there was a warm welcome from Silvana when checking in, also a very warm welcome from Eda in the restaurant along with all the other staff on different days of the week.. the rooms are always clean, warm and inviting..

Have been coming here for work and always met with friendly staff especially Silvana who on multiple occasions has gone above and beyond to help with any issues and give advice or information when needed

we stayed at this hotel before. And it's always been nice we had a primer plus room which was nice,clean tidy and has a mini fridge with bottles of water and nice small bars of chocolate the room was a bit cold but soon warmed up we were having a few days away before Christmas the first morning we didn't have breakfast but we did the second morning as we didn't book breakfast we payed for cooked and continental breakfast the restaurant looked tired and bit run down we were met by a waitress who showed us to a table after about 1 minute she come back wanting to know if my husband wanted to order he had only just got a drink she kept coming back every few minutes which was a bit unnecessary he did order and after a few minutes his breakfast arrived it didn't look all that appetising and it looked reheated my husband said the only thing that was hot was the sausages everything else was cold or lukewarm and ended up leaving most of it mine was limited and wasn't all that good it wasn't worth the money to be honest so the next day we didn't bother we should have gone to McDonald's over the road as you would have done better

I stay here a lot with work and silvana is amazing with her service helped me with reservations of the room I prefer as been a regular here and very friendly towards myself from a customer point aspect

Really great hotel. Service outstanding. Food served on hot plates and really great value for your money. Eda on Tuesday served me for breakfast and was there again for dinner. She is exceptional at service and an utterly nice person too. Having to cover the bar and to serve everyone’s food, she was outstanding.
