A late booking to stop over to break up the journey from Leeds to London with the family. Booked last minute, very cheap and good value for money with the standard (excellent) mattress in a standard family room, with very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. We had a good breakfast before we headed on our way. Perfect no fuss overnight stay.

Clean bedroom and friendly staff upon check in. Heating was very noisy as it turned on and off all night. The whole room was up and down all night due to it! Breakfast was poor. They were not keeping the hot food stocked at all so there was very limited options and you definitely couldn't have a full English. 10 minute wait for more eggs?!! By which time the sausages, mushrooms and hash browns had run out.

Nice hotel, no lift, heater in room a bit hit and miss but we always take a small plug in portable anyway, extractor in bathroom actually worked, things are getting better. Very friendly staff and the best Premier Inn breakfast we've ever had, all freshly cooked to order and served on very warm plates, poached eggs cooked to perfection instead of the usual gloopy examples served at other places, compliments to the lady chef.

Very friendly and efficient service throughout. Comfortable beds and warm rooms (on a very cold night). Very glad that we opted for the full breakfast. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and piping hot. Great value.

Despite its convenient location, this Premier Inn is showing significant signs of wear and tear. The fixtures and fittings are very dated, including no USB socket next to the bed, and limited sockets in general for seasoned travellers. The rooms and hallways have a fusty/musty smell which is either due to poor ventilation or carpets/upholstery in serious need of replacing, but most likely a combination of both. It's just got that 'old' feeling about it and needs a complete refurbishment, including the introduction of Plus rooms.

I use this hotel regularly when visiting family. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a lovely cooked breakfast. Great value for money. No issues at all

I stayed a full week, visiting family and friends around S Yorkshire. The hotel is very conveniently situated for the conurbation and the Pennines. I had an excellent disability-accessible room on the ground floor; it was simply furnished but was comfortable, very clean and the bathroom was well furnished with grab rails. The staff at reception, in the dining room and in the kitchen were particularly warm and friendly. Unknown to them, we are going through difficult times and arrived exhausted: their kindness really enabled us to relax and wake refreshed and ready for the challenges facing us each day. Hats off to the chef, they can make better porridge than I can! We frequent P Inn regularly; this is for sure among the best and we will be returning.
