Friendly and welcoming as always, ideally situated for a North Shropshire visit, easy distance to Shrewsbury, Whitchurch and Ellesmere. Can be pricey depending on timing.

Excellent staff. Good food. Comfortable, quiet room. A/C was a bit difficult to control. And for some stupid reason I have to make this up to 100 characters.

Staying one night on our way up north. No surprises really, but I think this was one of our better Premier inn experiences. The welcome at reception was very good. A nice friendly lady booked us in. The room was great …..comfy bed, clean, very good value. Only criticism was the room was cold when we arrived and it took 3 hours to get up to normal after fiddling with the heating controls. We had a meal deal and we went to eat at 6:30. Even on a Thursday evening it was quite busy and we were glad we had booked. The food was very good, the service a bit slow but the staff were all good and friendly. The breakfast was as expected at Premier Inn. Cooked to order and very good. We booked for 8am and amazingly the place was nearly empty ….virtually all the guests had eaten before us and had departed. There were a lot of vans I noticed the previous evening so I guess it’s a popular stop for trades people. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here unexpectedly whilst working away and I’m so glad I did. I can honestly say that the staff, the food and the service in the best experience I’ve ever encountered nationwide in all of the premier inns I’ve stayed in and there’s been a lot over the years. Thank you Lucy so polite and on the ball. Thanks to Gareth, Harry and Cameron too, they couldn’t do enough for me. The chefs Natalie and Colin obviously take great pride in their craft. The best food I’ve ever had in a Ptemier Inn. A big thank you to all of you.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last night and it was wonderful. The lady at reception greeted us kindly and was very welcoming. We loved the little note and treats in the room - a lovely touch. The restaurant staff were really polite and very hardworking. The food choice was extensive and the quality and value for money were excellent. I loved the bookshelf where you could take a book for a donation - what a great idea. The room was really comfortable and we slept well. When we checked out, a different lady was at reception. She was equally kind, asking about our stay and wishing us a good day. We will definitely return to this hotel when we are in Shropshire again.

We stayed in room 101 which has some kind of extractor outside the window which was a constant noise all night even with window closed, and the metal barrels for the pub were delivered at some ungodly hour and the noise was horrible. Lots of noise until early hours from the moving of barrels etc. right outside the window, staff throwing stuff around and clanging the bins etc. The blackout curtains were not great in that room either. Everything else was you’d expect from Premier Inn, just avoid that room if you don’t like noise!

Lovely overnight stay at this hotel. Clean and comfortable room with a countryside view. Staff were very helpful and attentive. As the room was ready we were able to check in an hour early without any extra payment-thank you Alfie and Kate. We will definitely stay here again when visiting friends in the area.
