The guy on reception on Saturday ( 17/1/26 ) afternoon was excellent, offered to carry our bag and showed us to our room. I last stayed here over 10 years ago and it was shabby then and nothing has changed. Its just got worse. There is nowhere else to stay if you only want a 10 minute walk into Kings Langley. The place does have that musty smell about it, the corridors are dimly lite, a ceiling light with a bit of cardboard stuck over it, and doors, skirting boards, well everything wooden needs redecoration or replacing. The room. Bathroom compact, generally clean, Plenty of hot water. The coat hook on the door was missing and the sink pug kept getting stuck. The beds appeared clean and fresh but we didn't look to hard because the walls in general were marked and had filled holes and the carpet looked well worn. The desk was literally falling to bits and the side panels that the top sat on were not fixed to the top and the back of the desk pulled out from the wall. The one chair was useful to wedge the desk. My bedside light didn't have a bulb. The plus point was we could open the window and get fresh air in. We did have a good shower and the beds were comfortable. The rest was rubbish but For £98 for two nights I wasn't expecting the Savoy.

Upon arrival on the 16th January the reception staff a male was excellent a credit to your establishment he deserves a 5* review. The room which was fairly reasonably clean had a pungent cleaning smell which would impact anybody with respiratory problems, a change in cleaning products is necessary. The breakfast eating area could be more structured as the tables were too close together and when full was very overwhelming for myself, let alone anybody with sensory impairment. When vacating the room the reception staff was too busy on their mobile phone - a course in customer care would be an advantage.

Very comfortable bed and pillows but the entire building looks tatty and tired. Mould in the bathroom and peeling paint makes it looks uncared for and the room was extremely cold with intermittent heating and a broken, dirty portable radiator.

I have stayed in many Premier Inns over the year and this has been the worst by far. I chose this hotel because of the free parking which is indeed available and plentiful. However I was given a room in the basement corridor which had a very strange atmosphere. Lots of rubbish outside of every room and people walking around with shopping bags of belongings. Not a good vibe for a hotel stay. My room had a very strong chemical smell which permiated my clothing and stuck to everything I brought . What was used in this room for cleaning and why had such strong stuff to be used? Would have asked for a different room but reception was empty most of the time. Room very tired with lots of staining on the wall. Even for a budget hotel this was disappointing, I won't be back.

I recently stayed In the premier inn in kings langly with my partner and I must say we were quite impressed. The location is perfect, a quiet village with plenty of shops around and plenty of parking, checking into the hotel was very quick and easy and the reception staff Nilema was great and very helpful and as always the breakfast at premier inn never disappoints and thanks to the lovely lady who checked us into the kitchen she was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

The room itself was very clean and organised. The service was outstanding and staff were extremely helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend staying here!
