Standard Premier inn which I have been using on a regular basis. Rooms generally comfortable with everything you need for a one night stay, and I will be staying again in the future. Cara who was on reception when I arrived was very helpful polite and professional and had great knowledge of the local area. The restaurant is a standard beefeater with a good choice, just make sure you book as it can be very busy.

Outside Frome so transport needed Hotel very clean and well kept. Room, bathroom and bed very comfortable and clean. Breakfast plentiful but just warm not hot.

I stayed here for one night on business and would 100% recommend. Gentleman on check in was really helpful, rooms spacious and spotless. Spare tea/coffee/milk in reception to help yourself - really good if you drink tea like I do!! Beds really comfortable and corridors quiet. I ate in the beefeater next door for evening meal and breakfast and food was lovely. Will definitely stay again.

Great value for money, comfortable decent rooms, standard WiFi though is useless just as well we got a good 4 g signal. Helpful staff, good location for surrounding towns

Overall cant complain, clean tidy nice staff, good food and drink very nice evening, only problem we had was we were in a room next to the staff only rooms , and on and off all night you could hear the door open and close .

Disabled parking is not enough and some of it is a long walk from the entrance and had at least three builders vans (with no badge) on our first night. Corridors and room needed a deep clean with obvious tracks in the corridors showing where the vacuum cleaner didn't reach. Our room was grubby with dust piled in corners and an uneven concrete floor under some hard carpet which felt tlike it should of had something laid under it to soften it. The bathroom sink was dirty and looked like it had been wiped with an already grubby cloth and there was dried urine still on the back of the toilet. Add to that the fact that the TV kept going pixelated whilst watrying to watch gneral programmes and football highlights but then would work fine for 30/40 minutes before having another session.

Stayed here New Year’s Day before heading to Longleat for the night lights then a full day there the following day. Booked 2 rooms, both were great, clean & had the usuals in there. Longleat is only 15 mins drive away so perfect place to sleep to visit here. Breakfast was delicious, all cooked throughly & warm (make sure you reserve a table) Service was quite slow in the restaurant in the evening but apparently they were short staffed. Food was delicious though - the steak was cooked perfectly how I like it! Literally across the road is a petrol station, car wash, Greggs & a shop all in one - we picked up picnic food here for a good price too! The ONLY thing I’d pick up on is the rooms seem so far away - I would gladly pay extra to choose my room. My daughter has mobility issues & sometimes uses a wheelchair as she struggles to walk - our room was a GOOD 5 mins walk from the lifts, down about four long winding corridors, was like a maze & she struggled to walk the length of time. However, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you

Excellent luxurious bedroom and bathroom. Incredibley comfortable bed. It was a shame I didn't spend more time in my room.

Sadly we felt Frome this year was the worst Premier inn we’ve stayed at. On arrival the member of staff mentioned on a number of occasions that she’s the only one on site, ran off her feet dear of her. While we were waiting to check in family in front had asked why there 3rd bed wasn’t set up or and linen for them, staff member said she could do it but would be a couple hours,that family didn’t themselves. Our room had a horrible stench that was just overwhelming and unpleasant, staff member said they would come but never did, she was very busy and already told us the hotel was full. Travelling from 04.30 with two children this was the last thing we wanted. Breakfast the next morning we were first to breakfast and again this restaurant smelt awful, food left under the tables and on the floor from the night before. Overall experience after staying at this hotel for the last 7 years over Christmas has been poor and we won’t be returning. Needs a lot of cleaning as the place has gone down hill, the staff are ran off there feet from what we saw.
