Stayed here New Year’s Day before heading to Longleat for the night lights then a full day there the following day. Booked 2 rooms, both were great, clean & had the usuals in there. Longleat is only 15 mins drive away so perfect place to sleep to visit here. Breakfast was delicious, all cooked throughly & warm (make sure you reserve a table) Service was quite slow in the restaurant in the evening but apparently they were short staffed. Food was delicious though - the steak was cooked perfectly how I like it! Literally across the road is a petrol station, car wash, Greggs & a shop all in one - we picked up picnic food here for a good price too! The ONLY thing I’d pick up on is the rooms seem so far away - I would gladly pay extra to choose my room. My daughter has mobility issues & sometimes uses a wheelchair as she struggles to walk - our room was a GOOD 5 mins walk from the lifts, down about four long winding corridors, was like a maze & she struggled to walk the length of time. However, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you

Excellent luxurious bedroom and bathroom. Incredibley comfortable bed. It was a shame I didn't spend more time in my room.

Sadly we felt Frome this year was the worst Premier inn we’ve stayed at. On arrival the member of staff mentioned on a number of occasions that she’s the only one on site, ran off her feet dear of her. While we were waiting to check in family in front had asked why there 3rd bed wasn’t set up or and linen for them, staff member said she could do it but would be a couple hours,that family didn’t themselves. Our room had a horrible stench that was just overwhelming and unpleasant, staff member said they would come but never did, she was very busy and already told us the hotel was full. Travelling from 04.30 with two children this was the last thing we wanted. Breakfast the next morning we were first to breakfast and again this restaurant smelt awful, food left under the tables and on the floor from the night before. Overall experience after staying at this hotel for the last 7 years over Christmas has been poor and we won’t be returning. Needs a lot of cleaning as the place has gone down hill, the staff are ran off there feet from what we saw.

Cara was very welcoming on the reception desk. Nothing was too much. Fantastic service with a friendly smile, would return again.

Very clean and staff very friendly. Lovely room with good facilities (mini fridge and coffee machine).Ideal place to stay to visit Bath.

Lovely hotel. We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff who checked us in swiftly. We didn’t need food during our stay so cannot give review on it. Can say the restaurant gets busy. A family who checked in before us could only get a very early breakfast and earliest they could have dinner was 9pm. If you can try and book in advance. We stayed after a visit to Bath Christmas market. Not too far to travel and then a short visit to Cheddar the next day. Hotel room was very clean. We couldn’t hear noise from other rooms but people seemed to forget that people can hear them walking, running and screaming down the hallway. This isn’t the hotels thought just inconsiderate guests. We stayed at the back of the hotel on the first floor so traffic noise was minimal. Plenty of parking available just remember to validate your parking on the tablet in reception. Quick note to Premier Inn. 2 yea bags is definitely not enough in the room. We are big tea drinkers. It wasn’t too big a problem as we couldn’t just pop down to reception for more but a few more in the room would be nice. Overall very happy with our stay and would stay again here if we were heading that way.

Warm welcome but floor creaked and so do the upstairs room so kept me awake on and off throughout the night . Breakfast booked at 10am but no orange juice and not re filed and hash browns and eggs were cold.toaster turned off at 10-15 so no toast either

Really disappointed in the whole experience, firstly no on was on the desk at check in so couldn’t book a table for breakfast, which we quickly learned was a big inconvenience as they struggled to fit us in. That brings me to the food. Paid extra to have breakfast included, waited 30 minutes for vegan sausages which had to ask 3 different members of staff for before even being acknowledged despite them being in the menu. No veggie bacon either. The room was clean, but the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall.

The lady on the welcome desk this morning was so kind and bubbly. The restaurant was full for breakfast but she made space for us as a family of four to fit in. Good food and friendly service. Thank you
