Excellent hotel,ran by excellent staff, that worked as a team, and we're more than happy to help. Rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious. We will definitely be doing a return visit. The only downside is that it's not dog friendly, if it were, I'd always book here when I visit the Wirral

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, lovely warm Welcome, Spotless room everything I needed for a very comfortable stay, I didn't go for Breakfast as the bed was just too comfortable. Maybe next time. Idealy situated for visiting Liverpool, Cheshire Oaks, etc.. Car Parking is available,just remember to enter the details @reception. If you would like your room serviced during your stay,this needs to requested at reception, or if you prefer extra Tea,Coffee,towels etc can be given from reception. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Tired, unloved. Looks like they are in the process of closing it down. Very few staff, only 2 staff on front of house, for the hotel and pub combined. Very, very slow service. Appalling food, sent burger back twice. Undercooked both times, ordered fish and chips instead, that came undercooked. Dangerous to eat. Offered a £13 refund for part of the meal deal we had paid for in advance. Ended up in the local Chinese. Speaking to other guests at the time it appears others have had a similar experience.

Not the full menu , rooms not cleaned after 3 days room bin not emptied, apparently the room as cleaned today by becky , must be having a bad day as shower area has had hairs on the walk since I came in 3 days ago and no bed made or bin emptied

Stayed here for a week for work, staff very friendly and helpful great service, restaurant clean good food and drinks. Rooms clean and area quiet so easy to sleep.

Premier Inn was conveniently located. It has two blocks and we were put in the "annexe". Room was clean, comfortable and temperature was controllable. Bed was comfortable. Some mould on the bath sealant was the only downside. The room we had was right on the path to reception opposite the restaurant, so wasn't ideal, but we were only staying one night, so it didn't really bother us. Didn't notice any road noise. A few miles from Cheshire Oaks. For the price we paid, it did the job for us.

Had such a pleasant experience. Booked a family room for 2 nights which was perfect for the 4 of us. The staff were so polite, couldn’t do enough for us. The two receptionists we encountered, a lovely gent at breakfast and a young lady serving behind the bar, could not praise them enough and will be visiting again.

Matt (duty manager) really made my stay he was very hospitable and accommodating and brought a warmth to service that was second to none, great stay and would definitely come back
