I came with my family for 2 nights as we was visiting relatives and we was welcomed to the hotel by lovely young lad who had ginger hair and the most stunning nails. He was so helpful and kind. He helped us with our bags and giving us directions to the city centre. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfy. We will definitely stay here again and I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

Always Staying in travelodges around Liverpool for work, never staid here before was surprised when walking in as it’s very small and unique, doesn’t have a bar cafe like the majority of them however there was a Toby Carvery next door an weatherspoons 5 minute walk down the street, would stay here again, no problems and staff was pleasant

Lovely small Travelodge, friendly welcome. Quiet location with free parking, £15 uber back from centre on a busy Saturday night after football. Comfy bed and great nights sleep for great price. Will stay again

This was the noisest hotel I've ever stayed in. Some sort of generator going really loud (or laundry machine maybe) and doors smashing closed all night it was awful.

The hotel was a comfortable basic hotel as expected. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. Well located for Alder Hey Hospital which was our reason for the trip. We booked 5 nights on flexible booking. When amended the booking to start a day earlier I was surprised at the extra cost. In a telephone call to customer services I was told that the charge represented the new price for the rooms as over ha week had gone by between the original booking and the amendment. An email complaint resulted in £249 refund by 9am Monday, after complaint sent over the weekend. So hotel decent, staff nice, booking and payment system made significant error which customer service failed to resolve by phone but resolved well by email. A mixed picture!

The hotel is a perfectly nice basic hotel, the staff are all pleasant and helpful. We had paid extra for a flexible booking but when we moved our stay forward by 24 hours the charge was much higher than if we had simply booked an extra night as a stand alone booking. Ringing central customer services we were told that what happens is that the original booking is cancelled and the new dates are charged at the rate current at the time of the change. This applies even though 4 of the 5 nights were the same. Beware!
