The stay was comfortable, room service and at the restaurant could improve and be a little more efficient. Shower over the bath, not a great set up, obviously space saving. Breakfast spread very minimal maybe ok for the star rating of the establishment. Overall good hotel for business travel.

Comfortably the worst hotel with the worst service around.....!!! Aircons in rooms don't work, can't get a room with a walk in shower. Then they don't have non-smoking with an aircon that works, so they put me in a smoking room. I had to stay longer so at 09h00 this am I book again, now suddenly no available rooms, with stuff that actually works. When I went to the front desk at 10h00 there were available rooms. Then some chick from Head Office and the hotel manager start to play musical phones with me about who said what. Believe me, they do have rooms with a shower and a working aircon but it means and upgrade, they don't care about Private Clients. Govt employees on a diet of pap, stew and chicken pieces is all they cater for. And they don't give a fcuk. Now at the Road Lodge.

As discussed we do not have rooms with a separate shower only our Executive rooms and unfortunately on the day we also had none that were available that were working. We were in East London to attend a conference and booked at Garden Court. While the rooms, food in themselves are as we know from this hotel chain, there was an added but very unpleasant hotel amenity: ***********. They were allowed everywhere by the hotel management. They knocked on incessantly on doors i.e. not just their clientt's rooms, shouted in the corridors calling each other and even had fights and shouting matches. Despite calling reception to resolve this issue every night into the early hours, it didn't help. The *********** even came for breakfast in their almost Non-existent attire. Safe to say, stay here at own risk. Don't be fooled by the brand name.
