I have stayed at Premier Inn Ramsgate on many occasions, and have no complaints about the hotel or the breakfast (which is SUPERB). However, the car park has recently been taken over by HORIZON PARKING. 16 days after my stay, HORIZON sent me a £57 parking charge (£95 if not paid within 14 days). My booking clearly stated FREE PARKING, and I gave my car registration number when booking AND on arrival. Yet still I have been charged £57 to £95 for a 2 night stay.

Stayed at Premier Inn Ramsgate (Manston Airport) for two weeks while attending a training course. Unfortunately, the hotel is looking very tired and the longer the stay, the more noticeable the issues became. The Wi-Fi was practically unusable for most of the stay, which is a real problem when you’re away for work. The TV in the room also turned itself on randomly during the night on more than one occasion, which was both odd and disruptive. The hallways had a persistent musty/mouldy smell, and the room itself clearly needed a proper hoover — it was dusty and didn’t feel as clean as it should. Outside the restaurant area there was also a lot of litter and overgrown bushes, giving a neglected first impression. Staff were generally polite, but the condition of the hotel really lets it down. This isn’t the standard I’d expect from a Premier Inn, especially for a longer stay.

Lovely staff. Nice breakfast. Absolutely shocking room dirty smelly not nice at all would not stay there again. I think even the staff were embarrassed about the state of the room. we had three rooms booked so cost us over £300 to stay one night and can honestly say I will never be staying there again haven’t heard from guest relations. I’m just in shock that a company as big as Premier Inn can run a hotel in this condition

Turned up after a long drive to this Premier Inn. Check in machine out of order. Rang bell. Man emerged from office, looked at me and said 'What's Up?' while holding the door open with his foot. I told him I'd like to check in. He said nothing and sat at his computer. After a while he said "Last name?". I gave it to him but he struggled to find me on his system as it is pronounced differently from its spelling. I showed him my name on my Premier Inn card and he proceeded to correct the pronounciation of my surname. Twice. He then handed my card and room number without a word. When he did speak, he asked me what time I wanted to book breakfast I said I don't want to book so he just tapped a sign that says they were busy and you must book. I still declined and he said "It'll be on you if they send you away!". It's my 3rd stay at this hotel so I knew to enter my car's Reg which was good as he didn't bother to tell me! All in all, a very poor welcome to Premier Inn. Normally staff are friendly and welcoming on my frequent stays, this guy certainly didn't come top in his Customer Service classes!

A brilliant location for either a privacy stay or a going out stay - the restaurant onsite is lovely and there are a few lovely eateries nearby. PERFECT!

Quick, friendly check-in. The twin room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The double room was not clean or well maintained and was missing a bedside table. The shower leaked on the floor as the seals were missing and the aircon was noisy and ineffective.
