Ideal place to stop if your catching the Eurostar and cheap as well only downside mobile signal is poor. Staff are all amazing big shout out to Stacey in the restaurant she is very passionate about her job (but they all are to be fair)

Despite the building work this did not affect our stay. The new restaurant and bar was very nice and the food was very nice. The only downside is that the mattresses have been changed and are extremely uncomfortable. Overall the hotel was clean and tidy.

Reception and room were fine, apart from bedside lights both not working. Breakfast was excellent. Helpful, friendly waiter service and beautifully cooked. A lovely start to the day.

Awful from start to finish. Booked 2 rooms. No mention of the fact the bar and restaurant are closed due to health and safety issues. Got a refund for one of the meal deals but 3 calls later still waiting for the second. Had to pay for cabs out and back to eat. People upstairs were ridiculously noisy ALL night. No hot water in the morning. Apparently the whole wing was without it. I would never return. The one star is for the staff. So many problems and issues that are beyond their control and they are suffering a barage of complaints.

I was disappointed with the communication before my visit. I only received notification a couple of days before my stay that the bar and restaurant would be shut. That short notice made it difficult to plan alternatives, and for a large hotel chain I would have expected earlier, clearer communication. The hotel itself was fine, but this really took away from the overall experience.
