Great location to get about Cornwall. Room was immaculate, comfortable and plenty of room. Service was sublime. Staff were exceptional. Courteous and caring. Nothing too much trouble. Especially Alicia and Cherie. Definitely one of the best Premier Inns stayed in

I tried to make a reservation for my sister for a week in June. I asked if they had king size beds in their double rooms and was told all their double rooms had king size beds. When her reservation came through, it was for a double bed. I also asked if they had a lift in the hotel and was told that all their hotels had lifts but it turns out the one in St Austell doesn't. When I tried to make adjustments to the reservation, I was told I couldn't because I wasn't named on the reservation. As my sister lives in another country, she didn't want to pay for long distance phone calls. Easier to cancel and go somewhere else!!

Another great stay. Stayed for the Christmas lights at Eden. My family had a lovely stay, friendly staff and nice clean room

A great stay overall! The hotel has some slight maintenance issues that could use a bit of attention, but it didn't affect our trip at all. The real highlight is the staff—everyone was so friendly and helpful. It makes such a difference when you are greeted with a smile. Highly recommended for the service alone!

Stayed here as a quick get away and sure will be returning This premier inn has amazing staff who goes above and beyond. Ok, a little wait on food in the restaurant and was basic…but did the job for us!

The receptionist was miserable and very unwelcoming when we arrived. Just rushed us through and didn’t say anything other than ask for our name for booking and told me to put the reg in. Got to our room, everything was nice. We had a family arrive in the room above us just before midnight. We had two young children that were already asleep. It sounded like they were doing an assault course in their room. The bangs and shouting were beyond ridiculous! They woke one of our children up. My husband went out to reception around 12.20 am to tell them it was just getting ridiculous now, it’s completely unfair on us who have also paid to stay here, we totally accept the odd footsteps and doors banging but that amount of running and jumping around was not fair at all! He was told that there was nothing they could do as the family “just” checked in- they had been there over 20 minutes by then… so he asked if they could leave it a bit longer then go and ask them to be a bit quieter, the receptionist basically said no as it’s just the way the hotel is laid out. You could even hear the bangs from in reception!! Totally unacceptable!! The banging and footsteps continued all night. We woke up at 3am, 5am and 7am thinking they’d be coming through the ceiling at some point (No exaggeration!!) Clearly the family above were more important than us as we were made to feel like we just needed to deal with it and nothing was said to the family upstairs at all! No even an apology from the receptionist. Can’t believe anyone can be that disrespectful in the first place but for them to not be told to keep the noise down was totally unfair on us. This is the second time we have stayed with you as the first was a good experience but we definitely will not be staying again. We will stay at the Travelodge down the road.

St.Austell is perfect to reach all areas of Cornwall. The room and bathroom clean. So quiet, peaceful & the bed just the best!! The blackout curtains did their job, long peaceful sleep!! Reception staff so friendly & welcoming.
