I had a 1 Night stay and was booked into room 19. At 6:30am i heard a reversing vehicle and i was woken by a refuse vehicle emptying refuse bins directly outside my window. This carried on for 15-20 mins and on checking out i mentioned that it had a disturb sleep and i could not get back to sleep. The hotel is aware of Monday am bins being emptied and even though they could have given me an alternative room i was allocated room 19. !! Why ?? This situation could have been managed locally but Premier Inn Head Office state its out of our control … Very Disappointed …

Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. The Check In man was first class as was the room. Everything was very good apart from the two females on reception during the two days we were here. The stocking up of the tea and coffee was very poor but you could always find the members of staff, round the corner from the main entrance smoking, it was unbelievable and not acceptable both to guests and the reputation of Premier Inns. Not only was it unsightly but it was like walking through a smoke screen and always the two of them and reception not covered. I stay at a number of Premier Inns on a regular basis and this was my first and last stay here, I thought I would try it for a change from staying Central again, I made a big mistake

As always we have had a nice stay again, staff very nice and friendly big shout out to Richard who is always friendly and helpful, we also ate at the beefeater for our breakfast and evening meal couldn’t fault it lovely meals again wouldn’t go anywhere else

Overall stay reasonably good great guy on reception really helpful and caring, Reception and corridors cold, room good nice shower and clean, the Restaurant quiet and had cold spots throughout the pub, service ok but a little rush when eating maybe trying to get home, evening meal nice, breakfast considering waitress service and not buffet, the bacon was Old like cardboard cooked in oven and greasy, Sausages not cooked very well,having stayed in around 16 premierinn over 18 months possibly the worst breakfast. The staff overall fairly good.
