Chris and Oscar were wonderful staff :) the tv didn’t work so they came and fixed it . Room was cozy. Comfy beds . Comfy pillows in the king bed . Fire pits were nice to have a fire in the evening. The river in the back was cool to see and listen to . The river and chairs in the front was a beautiful spot to walk down and listen to the water . Lobby had books , games and big spray . Also served cookies and wine as a little welcoming hello treat . Parking was small only because there’s not to many rooms but they are nice and remodeled . Good price . Close to Tahoe .

I highly recommend this hidden gem. Beautiful location, we stayed in room 21 and the view of the river from our room was perfect. Lots of hiking and a places to hang by the river close by. If we ever find ourselves back in this area we will definitely be staying here again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Sierra Inn. The rooms were newly upgraded and they were impeccably clean. The river is right there, and it was nireally relaxing to just sit by the river and have wine with our family, which BTW the wine was supplied by Sierra Inn. They also had bonus breakfast muffins and were super generoud with bottled water and anything else we could ask for. This is a high service, quality place for a great price. We skied Sierra at Tahoe and were happy with the mountain (much less crowded as the big resorts with plenty of slopes for even us kinda-block-diamond-skiers). And Moon's is only a mile away and you can't beat the friendly food there. We will be back!

We found this well-placed hotel a year ago and had such wonderful experience that we brought the family back again this ski season. It is even better this year, with all the remodeling the new owners have done. The parking lot and roof are brand new. We had three rooms and all of them had been completely renovated - I especially loved the ceiling mounted showerheads. They were also installing electric heaters in the stairs, which is a great idea to keep the ice off. The location is ideal - a short drive to the ski areas, but closer to Sacramento and the Bay Area. Saves us an hour each way, which is key for me because I am the driver and am usually tired from skiing all day. But the best thing about this place are the owners. Craig and Amber are wonderful hosts. They are friendly and generous and we could tell they genuinely wanted us have a comfortable stay. Last but not least, the price is right, especially compared to Tahoe hotels.

Very nice and very friendly staff. The newly renovated rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. Would gladly stay there again. Was nice having the river right behind the Inn. They also have a small fire pit for public use.

Arrived after hours to what looks like a recenelty remodeled hotel!! Very clean hardwood floors, and all appliances look and work like new. Thers is a nice picnic area out front of my room where I was able to eat my dinner- My room was also spacious and had a comfortable bed! Thank you to the Sierra Inn for a very comfortable and pleasant stay!

I stay there last week , very clean room comfortable bed and good location surrounded by beautiful view, my daughter and husband loved it .If you like nature and comfortable stay I highly recommend it.

A very delightful stay right on the river. Rooms were very clean and A/C blows like winter. There is also a full kitchen that guest can use and multiple grills for those that cook. Lake has trout too, so bring your fishing gear! My wife and I will definitely stay again.

What a wonderful inn. The rooms were clean and the staff exceptional. They made us feel welcome and at home!!! The beds were comfortable. I shall be back soon!!! its close to Wrights Lake where there are numerous birds and mammals !!!
