David is a delightful host! Come here for an authentic and relaxing stay in Jamaica. We loved the room, it was plenty of space for 1 adult and 2 teens. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset from the balcony, relaxing by the pool, and the easy access to some isolated and heavenly beaches.

It was like a secluded plantation Mansion on a quiet dirt road. Words can’t describe the beautiful house, they offered food and transportation, the caretaker was the nicest grandmother, kindly and helpful. And the staff drove me to the lagoon and to my next stay (average taxi price, but 24 hour convenience). I will stay here again when I bring my family, it was luxury at a motel 6 prices. She even squeezed me fresh papaya juice, and cooked a delicious breakfast

No air conditioner was included assuming that every property in Caribe had to have AC. Good for you *******!!!!! So, they charge me 40 dollars per day aditional to the rate I already arranged to pay. David and the lady at the property were nice and very kind.

Our night at the Retreat Guest House was amazing! From the great views, to our beautiful room, we would return in a heart beat. We even received a homemade meal that was incredible! David and Joyce were great hosts and extremely hospitable! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Complete nightmare. Checked out before staying a night. Property description is completely misleading. Air conditioning is not available in any room with a view, the rooms with a view do not have functional showers, staff is rude and always in your room. Avoid this place.
