Set about a 15 minute walk from Cardiff City centre it was ideal for what we needed. Easy access to other routes around Cardiff area, the bay and Penarth. Hotel was really clean from what we saw, it smelt clean and our room was spotless. We opted for the meal deal, 2 courses in the evening with a drink. Unlimited breakfast in the morning was nice with a good variety. Plenty of onsite parking.

This is a very tired place and not too clean. The bathroom in particular, which was not properly cleaned, The lavatory bowl was unpleasantly dirty which is inexcusable. Surprisingly there were only two pillows and one each of hand towel and bath towel. On the ground floor there is a lot of noise transferred from above. There is good parking which attracted us to this place. The pub next door is not an attractive feature. All in all pleased to leave and will reconsider "cheap and cheerful" Premier Inn in future.

Bedroom good. Bed comfy and very clean. Could do with more than 1 pillow each. Had evening meal in restaurant next door. Meal good. Chips could be a much better standard. Bland. Table was ‘sticky’ not been cleaned properly. Service was good and nice welcome. Had breakfast there and table still the same. Didn’t sit at same table.

We spent 2 nights wiaiting cardiff last week and staid at Premier Inn South. The staff were fantastic and the room was spotlessly clean. The place could use a refurbishment, but even so we enjoyed our stay.

My recent stay at this hotel was a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were welcoming, professional and always ready to help throughout my stay. The room was spotless, well organised and very comfortable. For a budget hotel, the overall quality of service truly exceeded my expectations. Everything felt well managed and thoughtfully arranged to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. I was also very happy with both breakfast and dinner. The food was fresh, well prepared and offered good variety. The free parking was a great convenience, and the complimentary WiFi worked reliably during my stay. Overall, I was very impressed and would happily stay here again. A well-deserved 5-star experience.
