Location: very well placed, opposite a large hospital, with an aldi and mcdonalds next door. there are regular buses running. Parking: Free. Cost: this was paid for by my employers, I stayed 3 nights. Room: Clean and comfortable. I slept well. It was very quiet and there was no environmental noise. Future: i will happily return.

Really impressed with the attentiveness of the young lady on the reception desk and checking people in. She was quick but not rushed and was very well spoken. Breakfast was a buffet style which is a dying art I must admit. However, delicious and fresh. I would stay here again.

We had a very wonderful experience at Premier Inn in Derby, UK! The staff is exceptional, the facilities are extremely clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The food served at "The Social" was always fresh and delicious, we ate there almost every day for breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this establishment!! Thank You so very much!

We have been to Derby West Premier Inn 7 times over the last year. As usual this time we were greeted by Cathryn and Sean who were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely as usual, well cooked, non greasy and great for us vegetarians. The staff were lovely. Sean in particular, is always very welcoming, cheerful & makes sure we have an accessible, quiet room.

This is our goto hotel in Derby for a night away, unfortunately this visit was a let down. Check in lady was uninterested, couldn’t find booking & assumed I hadn’t got one (obviously we had!) Felt she was rude, abrupt & really didn’t want to be talking to us. Check in is normally excellent, with genuine interest from staff. Our room was upstairs, along a corridor, room wasn’t as spacious or bright as we have had in the past, light bulbs were out, the bed linen had stains on it & the carpets throughout have seen better days. I appreciate there is a heavy foot through but a monthly deep clean would help. We couldn’t clean our teeth in the sink as there was no cold water so had to lean over the bath. Overall, we experienced a decline in the service & quality of our stay. Also the Beefeater next door is going to be a McDonalds. We would not be happy to leave our car overnight on a McDonald’s carpark - maybe something g for premier Inn to consider?

For a Premier in level hotel, this is the best we have stayed in. Staff are brilliant and really care about your satisfaction and have a true passion about their hotel. Its been recently refurbished with the dining area, friendly, comfortable. Very welcoming. Good slelection of nice food for a value evening meal and a great all you can eat breakfast. Some rooms have been refurbishes, more being done. Those that have, the one wee had, are clean, and comfortable for sleeping. The best premier inn we have stayed in and beats meany higher star hotels on quality and service we have stayed at. Will be booking again when in the area for short over night stays
