Not sure about shops or restaurants we saw Applebee's next door. The rooms need more lighting. Too dark to read in.

My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was fantastic! And the room was way bigger than we had expected. Whenever we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again!

Great place
Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. When we arrived we did have a problem with our room, but as soon as we said something to the front desk it was fixed immediately. I even received a message from the manager asking how our stay was going.The breakfast was wonderful. You had a variety of choices for breakfast.Everything was very clean. The pool is very nice. It was nice and quiet too, so we were able to get a good night’s rest.

It's very convenient to stay here when exploring Ephrata Cloister. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a liquor license yet.

My whole family was very pleased with this hotel. Everything was well taken care of and the place was clean and comfy.
I highly recommend it if you are traveling with kids.

Our room was very nice but our mattress was horrible lumpy very noisy my husband and I got no sleep it was bad we told the front desk and they said they could not do anything because we booked thru expedia.als I tried to get some toilet paper the whole thing fell and it was broke they charged us 10.00 I told them that also I am so not happy

My only complaint was the lighting in the room was not the best. Evrything else was quite good.
