Wonderful place to stay with a big porch and spacious rooms. We also enjoyed the complimentary sherry, which was especially helpful in keeping warm as we endeavoured to take photos of the stars. The WiFi was fast, though we had to use the smart TV in order to get the correct password (the one on the plaque was outdated at the time of our visit).

The Guesthouse is a nice clean and tidy place, our room was nicely decorated and the lounge area well comfortable... Shared bathroom not a problem since only 1 other guest was staying. However.. with very few local restaurants and bars Sutherland is lost in time.. a long drive for nit so much.

We had a nice overnight stay in this guesthouse in Sutherland. Friendly people and a cozy, comfortable room in a big house. We had our own side entrance into the house which was very convenient. The bed and bedding were very comfortable - we had a good sleep! Will definitely recommend it.

The Blue Moon Restaurant at the Guesthouse was exceptional good. The food was devine and the waiters very good, quick and friendly. The lamb curry was my all favourite. The breakfadt was good with wonderful filter coffee. The restaurant is in the middle of town, so very convenient.
