Check was qukck. Was given a wrong room based on who was staying but were quick to say sorry and didnt affect my stay. The hotel is dated but being worked on. The bathroom had been cleaned but had hairs all around the bath which put me off using it as there staff at reception werent around to report to.

Very good experience. I've stayed in many different Premier Inns recently and although they are getting very tired due to lack of investment, this one was surprisingly pleasant. Friendly check-in staff and excellent meal in the restaurant, so good in fact we returned there again the following night. Really good value for money and excellent service from Nina on both visits.

The hotel is generally tatty. The shower curtain was dirty, the net curtain was dirty. There wasn't double glazing so could hear road noise all night. We had to ask for toilet paper as very little in the room

I haven't visited here for approximately 3 years , then it was ok not great but ok..i visited today 19/02/2026 I landed approx 6.00pm...car park full approx 15 vans rest private cars...i walked past the conservatory shown on premier inn pics to reception and thought no chance of a table for food....car park was full...6pm....to my surprise the conservatory was empty and so was the restaurant..I asked at booking in why empty. Restaurant ?? Reply was probably gone into town..... After quick shower getting changed and I went downstairs and into restaurant....virtually empty which is very unusal from previous times... Looking to my left the familiar 8/10 seater horseshoe leather bench seating was now ripped to shreds and no longer a welcome place to sit...the conservatory was blocked off "due to a leak for the last few months" At this point I am reluctantly sitting down.....ordered fish and chips mushy peas...I won't drone on but teaspoon of mushy peas...fish decent ,chips ok... Then the drama started.. The 2 guys next table to me were offered a free drink....they politely refused.. Not sure at this stage why they would be offered a free drink.. I ate my food and looked at my additional £0.99 one slice of bread cut into 2.. Then the waiter offered to buy these two guys another free drink on his behalf..... They refused.... I asked for the bill... I got charged for the food but not the drink I did ask why....but not given the real reason..."just because we can" Now I'm thinking *** is going on here.. At this point now it's lowered in our companies hotel expectations. The room itself... All good ish apart from the bathroom The bath hairs, not in the bath itself , on the top of the bath.. This should have been cleaned before the next occupant. Re

Hotel staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Comfy room. Bathroom could do with an extractor. Had the meal deal which was good. Staff very busy.

Resturant : we have been coming hear for almost 30 years as we cross to france 5 times a year The resturant used to be subed out as table table.now been brought in house to premier inn. Used to be packed sa a family venue with adiquate good value food. Now has been dummed down. One set of toilets shut to save money. Small portions , chicken under cooked, Wine not the percentage printed on the menue. Rubbish beer. Please avoid
