Totally shocking dirty smells mould. Could not walk on the carpet with out shoes on . Vomit up the walls . Would never recommend this hotel.

Been staying here for many years now and the standard remains constantly good each time. The staff are very nice and the room was comfy and quiet

Friendly welcome every time we visit 2/3 times a year to visit my sister in Newport. Prompt service if new towels etc . needed, Beefeater staff also very efficient . Always a restful stay, With thanks Gill&Tony Styles from Canterbury, Kent

Reliable, comfortable stay in a good bed. Clean and quiet, only let down by understaffed restaurant where the fried calamari tasted of everything else that had be in the same oil and it looked dirst and freezer burned. Reception Lady gave a really nice welcome and reflected this every time I exited and entered the Inn.

Our experience, despite other reviews, was very positive. Reception staff friendly. Room very comfortable and clean. Did not feel cramped. Shower worked well. TV/wi-fi worked. Yup would use again.

I didn’t actually stay at this hotel, I came in to enquire about a room and unfortunately they were full! However the receptionist on the desk at the time was so helpful, she rang round 3 other hotels and did her absolute best to help me. She was so understanding and polite I cannot praise her enough. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but it was on a Saturday evening I came in if this helps to recognise who she is.
