Receptionist was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful and that was the only positive. The room had a stale unpleasant smell the moment I opened the door. Not just a bit stuffy. Properly foul. There was no bar. No restaurant. The vending machine was broken. Completely stranded for food or even a drink. At 3.30am the fire alarm went off with no warning and no explanation. Just chaos in the middle of the night. On top of that there was shouting and noise from other rooms all night. No sleep. No control. No standards. What should have been a simple overnight stay turned into a noisy uncomfortable badly managed experience. Extremely disappointing.
